You can either play as typical 4-party team like in most DQ game and other RPGS or limit yourself to 3-party team like DQ2/5 The choice is yours, but personally I think I'll stick with a 4-man party.
I just had better luck finding Large monsters using level 25 and below monsters. like hunter mech, skull riders sometimes attack twice so im trying them out as spell casters.
You can make some others too like the chocolate golem and dessert demon. Both of mine came out way tinier than I expected,lol. Why is my chocolate golem only up to my knee?
I don't mind the "only two sizes" thing. Giants were always a double-edged sword to me. On one hand, they're cool and have a ton of crazy abilities and stuff, but on the other hand, I prefer having more than just one monster on my team, so I don't see myself using giants all too often.
Is that confirmed? Like, the non-existence of three-slot monsters (XL)? Because I honestly liked them a lot, even back in the first Joker, where there were only three team slots, which really limited your "party" options when using a giant. Still, I am happy enough about the big (L) ones, especially since you can now make every monster big. I can already see myself searching for the perfect monster duo. 😁
Thanks i got em, now i just have to change my phys attackers into hunter mechs if thats the best in demo but i do like my merfolk since it has lifelink on hit, is that worth it or keep it?
@@bonrulapaugh7164 I think the beauty of this game is you can make any monster of your choice strong through synthesis. If you enjoy playing with merfolk keep em.
Absolutely in this game, since there are no more 3 and 4 slots monsters anymore, So they put some of the characteristics of the 3 and 4 slots monsters from their predecessors on the large monsters (2 slots) on this game. A huge nerf imo.
Lvl 30?! Dang. I forget the demo came about weeks ago and only started playing it myself a couple of days ago. So cathartic to watch those big monsters get taken down, no sweat. Thanks for the video! I've been looking online for lrg monster synthesis/guides and yours are excellent. Is there a particular place/method you use to grind lvls or is it just buckling down and doin it?
The Green Dragon is weak against water attacks and gives the most exp. at least on the Demo. for starters any spell that hits multiple targets are good such as kaswoosh or any breath attacks.

Drops from the 3 mini bosses? 2) Does Seethe boosts your chances for scouting just like Tension did in the past? 3) I only managed to find one L(arge) skeleton so far, they seem to be very rare in the overworld , is there a way to increase my chances? 4) Attack/Wisdom Booster IV is the max it goes?

Firstly, I appreciate you making this video and I think the answer is a rather definitive YES size matters. I have a question regarding how you synthesized a large version of a monster. Thank you for the video.
Your first parent should be a synthesis of any two (L)arge monsters. Keep synthesizing your (S)mall monster with another (L)arge monster until it grows big enough that when you synthesize it with the first parent the offspring will be (L)arge. You can catch (L)arge monsters on Circle of Temper the second map.
@@markangelogaming More infomation you can use bongo drongo to syn with small monster until you can syn with the L size off spring that you make at first. It easier to find bongo drongo instead of another L monster
Hmmm... This is worth knowing since I was wondering if the Great Argon Lizard would appear in this monster fusion guide, or not in this demo. Since it isn't, that would mean my favorite monster is further away from the story that the demo can allow you to play through and far more ranked than these current monsters you'd obtain for yourself. I was even gonna play the demo myself, but found that it's costs of not keeping your monsters' levels & attributes aren't worth accepting to me as you can only keep their nicknames and such as the rest are dropped once you've play the full game with the demo completed. I'd rather play the full game from the beginning while keeping everything your monsters' have until you get to point where the demo would make you end the game, but you'll proceed normally through the full story of it. I thank you for posting this vid of this monster list and I hope you'll have fun with this DQM game once it's fully released as I will. :) I even hope there's a new plus feature for it too. ^^
If I'm not mistaken Great Argon Lizard is a synthesis between two Frou-fry which I can't seem to find on the Demo version. Great thing to hear that people like a certain monster, I myself like the "Great Dragon" since I saw it on the first DQM. But my favorites are the Over killing machines line since they can usually attack twice on the games. I made this guide to help people create what they may want as starting monsters when the game releases.
@@markangelogaming That synthesis is in the old DS game DQM Joker and I'm not even sure if the Frou-fry, or even the normal Argon Lizard group is in the new DQM game. If they would be, then that would be spectacular as they too are a favorite of mine. ^^ Since this game would have over 500 monsters, there may be a chance that other monsters from DQ8 would appear in this game as well, like the Beetleboy. You're not wrong that people would like a certain monster and to be honest with you, I liked the Argon Lizard group the moment I saw them in DQ8. >w< The machine group are cool too as they're also a favorite of mine. ^^ This guide sure is useful and I'll put this to good use once I get the game.
