Ah you’re right! Thanks for checking. We checked the footnotes on Apple’s site and that’s where we saw it. We also tested and compared, and didn’t see much difference but good eye!

I updated from a 13ProMax to the 16ProMax. I noticed something different, a huge difference. I’m happy This things rocks. I love big phones. Now my Galaxy S24 Ultra has a great partner to kick it with. Apple Intelligence will be here later in Fall. Like Apple advertised before the release. Everybody that is sad about the 15 to 16 stuff it’s because Apple didn’t include any R2-D2 or 3-CPO technology. Apparently any body that switched from the 15Pro’s isn’t happy. I didn’t notice that it’s the same as last year. I never owned any of the 15’s. A lot of the previous 15 owners are all, disappointed, sad, upset or depressed. “He who expects nothing will never be disappointed”
what did they do to Siri? it's literally useless on iOS 18 right now. she can't even give directions, she can't look anything up.... I went from 15 pro to 16 pro. not a fan of the camera button. now they need a 5.8" "mini Pro". I want a smaller phone.
Is nobody else having the same issue with the camera unit rattling, even when simply moving the phone? I’ve seen this mentioned by ‘wired’ and on Reddit, but I can’t believe it’s not being more widely spoken about. I’ve had two 9 Pro Folds, both have been returned, the second a couple of hours ago. For an £1800 phone, it’s not acceptable that you should hear a rattle from the image stabiliser, or the camera or sensor every time you raise or move the phone. I’m gutted, as I really liked the phone. I have a Magic V3 instead, which I and planned to return, but this has proved to be far better than I had expected, in contrast to the fragile sounding 9 Pro Folds. Please tell me I’m not alone in this!?
The amount of titanium in the Apple phone is a disgrace. It's actually worse than the stainless steel because with the stainless steel the whole frame is made of stainless steel. The titanium one has about 8% titanium in it and the rest of it's aluminum alloy.
Disclaimer, Google fanboy here. I have placed an order for a 9 Pro. It is replacing a Pixel 6. The Pixel 6 still works fine. On a scale of 1 to 10 on phone abuse, I'm a solid 7. Phones never live a day without a case. One week out of a case is why I'm getting rid of the 6, it got bounced around in the shop, bare glass, and got a crack on the screen. About 3/8th of an inch, or 4 or 5mm. I know it's gonna creep across the screen eventually and the cost to replace it is more than trade in value. That being said, the camera "island" on the back is a SILLLY AND STUPID design choice. That thin area near the edge is GOING to crack. I expect to see it start being reported happening from flexing the phone sticking it in poorly designed cases. Should have brought it out and used two pieces on the back. I KNOW mine is going to break there. But it is on the back, not the screen, so I don't care. But I'm a fanboy because I value function over form and value over status. I Google wants to after the aesthetics market, they have to seriously rethink their appraisal of how well Apple does at hiding a fairly rugged design under a graceful appearance.
For a starting price of $1,800 US, they should have made it a little thicker to fit the best camera and closer to 6000mha battery. I want to get one but I'm not sure if it's worth it with those compromises.
Just got mine a few days ago Not used to the keyboard yet coming from iphone and it is very heavy Ios defo more smoother in software etc speakers flash light etc But that internal screen is incredible
Only downfall is gaming on the pixel 9 pro fold it's trash google should've had more common sense to know people would love to game on it so should've optimised it more
Googles focus has never been on gaming/computer power with tensor. They've been massively upfront about that since day one. Machine learning, LLMs and ai are their focus. There are better foldables and standard phones on the market at the same or lower prices that game better and google knows it. If you're interested in a pixel, Google hopes you're looking for the uses tensor was designed for. I've got a 9 pro fold and a zfold 6 and for ai/work tasks I'll take my 9 pro fold. For entertainment I'll take my zfold. Not everyone is gonna have the ability to own multiple devices like this at the same time, so I'm a definitely in the minority of non reviewer user who is able to use these things daily in their intended use cases
Almost every single review I watch on this phone the person is wearing a Apple Watch LOL, I’m the same way, I love both, just thought it was funny observation
So far I am loving my pixel 9 pro fold. Its my first foldable and I am enjoying it. The only thing I am not thrilled with are the large bars on top and bottom of the screen while watching videos.
I'm contemplating on switching actually from the 9 fold to the z fold 6. I really like the more sophisticated look of the Samsung. What do you find better about the 9 fold & why I should keep it instead?
@@tdwp909 I love the z fold software. Didn't think I'd like the pixel software at first but I love it now! Front screen on pixel fold is the sh** 🔥! And when opening up to the inside screen to watch RU-vid and movies... That makes it much better 🔥 🔥! I love call screening on pixel. Z fold went a tad bit wider than z fold 5 front screen but still feel cramped at times. If you're looking for one handed use z fold 6 is great. I have long fingers and can do one handed on pixel fold as well. My z fold 6 has been stored in my drawer for a rainy day 😂 😂 . One thing I like on z fold 6 that pixel can't do it having two different screen layouts. U can customize all screens vs pixel fold.. hope u make the right decision bud
@@tdwp909 I love the software on Z fold 6 and didn’t think I’d like the pixels software at first.. love it now 🔥 .. the front screen on the pixel 9 pro fold is perfect!!! The Z fold 6 went a lil wider than Z fold 5 but it still gets cramped at times. I love the fact that you can call screen with pixel. It’s amazing. Only thing I don’t like about pixel 9 pro fold is that you can’t customize the front screen and inside screen separately like you can on the Z fold 6. I get better battery life out of my pixel fold as well! If you like one handed use I say go Z fold being that it’s skinnier. I can still do one hand mode on my pixel fold because I have long fingers. This is my first time ever owning a pixel and I love it. My Z fold 6 is stored away hoping that they will do something innovative with Z food 7 and then I’ll trade it in. Till then I’m rocking the pixel 9 pro fold daily. If I get bored I could just throw the sim in down the road just for change up. Hope you make the right decision bud.
While this phone is not the top of the line in everything can it achieve the sweet spot of being enough to satisfy the phone/tablet market. Time will tell

Yeah this is extremely amateurish and annoying clickbait... the XL while similar is still a different phone with different size, screen, battery, charging speed and price. Pro (not Pro XL) hasn't got many real reviews from anyone and annoying to find this isn't it either while baited by thumbnail and title.
Can’t wait until I can get this as my corporate mobile device. I’m glad they moved to a flat screen so we can get full adhesive screen protectors. My pixel 7 pro xl’s curved screen doesn’t hold the protectors very well.
Thanks for the review. Being a long time Beats user myself, I would not use these at the gym unless the ear pads are covered. Sweat gets in there and can ruin them very quickly. Not like I know from experience lol
Feel like you guys are.conflating aspect ratio and display size. Like z fold 6 display size is only .1 inch bigger. Does it mean anything that the pixel fold screen size is significantly smaller but you don't here anyone complaining about the aspect ratio. The zfold 6 aspect ratio is 22:9 btw, which is improved over the 23:9 of the Fold 5. And the front display is over 2mm wider as well so it's noticeable. Agree with the cameras, not that they should include improvements for the same price....they're a business. But that they should offer a model with better cameras, obviously that would mean paying more, but I would pay more.
I believe it takes almost 3 hours to charge from 0-100%. It takes me nearly 90 min to charge from 50-100%. Unless there's something wrong with my phone, lol. Which is possible.
