We stayed at a campground called sugar loafin just outside Leadville . But there is many dispersed camping around there . Cost is a little bit we really like that campground.
Nicely done . Live in Tulsa. Need to go check this campground out soon . We still tent camp but go all out with our set-up. Just did two weeks in Colorado. It was amazing. Cool temps at night. Eights diring the day .
Bringing back the memories from this video! Our family really enjoyed Garden of the Gods when we were out there. We never made it to Pikes Peak. Unfortunately, its always about time... Some epic views!
That is a white knuckle road for sure! I have not driven that road but have driven other roads in CO where the finger of God can just push you to your death - lol! You two captured this one!
@@FuzzyDogProductions385 my heart was beating so fast!! Highly recommend! You must do it next time you are in the area…. And with a drone!! We finally got one. Learning how it works!!
You two are everywhere! Scenic hike! Colorado is amazing I wish I had more time when I was out there with the family - we were such tourists! A badge I wear with honor - lol!
@@FuzzyDogProductions385 we are so blessed!! Going to get to use our PASSPORTS in November!! I’m sooo excited!! Your videos are amazing btw. The videography is so cool! We can learn a lot from you.
First time watching your channel. Have lived in Tatum all my life. Fished & skied Martin Lake before state park was built. Actually fished the lake the first day it was opened to the public. The line was all the way to the highway with boats. The trees you camped under were just little saplings when park was new. We started camping in tents and have now moved to our 3rd motorhome, a 40’ DP. Have seen many of the tear drop campers in our travels. All types of RVs for all types of peeps. As long as one is enjoying their style of RVing that’s what it’s all about. Thanks for an enjoyable video.
About time I found a video out at Lake Mury. I have not been on every lake out there, but Lake Mury is a favorite of mine, really clean/clear waters. I grew up in Noble, Ok and I always remember going to Lake Murry often. There is an old lighthouse they turned into a Museum, but if you have any youngsters you have to take them to the light house. I remember the 1st time I got there I thought we were in some castle or something. Ah I seen a post mentioning Marietta which is down the road a bit from Mury. We would go out to Marietta and the have a cookie manufacture out there and we would go get our Marietta cookies, then go to Lake Mury and/or Sulfur and just have a good ol day. =)
@CKAdventures2023 very glad to hear that. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR MY OWN FURRY MAN...I've been married 52 years!! Curious why when a female comments on a man someone always brings up his marital status like she was hitting on him... they don't do that when men comment on women. Just curious
That tiny rv is just to cute!!!!! I have an Rpod. 20 ft. Yours is just so tiny!!!! Is there a bathroom? How big is the bed? Sorry for the 3rd degree..lol. I love that tiny thing. Mine seems huge to pull. I've been wanting an omnia. Dinner looks great. I would have put a bit of salsa or Pico in that meat n cheese. I love that outdoor kitchen. I cook 100% outdoors ..I hate the "kitchen" in the Rpod...never used it. OMG. THAT OUTDOOR BATHROOM!!!..NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE
@@tracker5849 Queen bed in ours. The XL is a king size bed. No bathroom. We either park close to a bathroom in the park or we put up a potty tent with a port-a-potty. 😊
@CKAdventures2023 awesome..thank you. I have a 20 ft Rpod. It's not my dream camper but it's ok. We live in it full time with 4 dogs. Right now no traveling..husband hates travel. But one day when his time comes me n the dogs may go see what's past walmart and the city limits.
Nice tour of the park and trails. Yes we like to stay at the smaller units too. Great cooking with momma video we just made one always good to be with momma.🙂👍 thank you for sharing have a good day.
The recent severe weather and threat of weather caused a lot of cancellations, but that’s ok. It was still so fun. Just less people than originally expected. And the weather cooperated!! 🙌
Guys, it was great to visit with you both at the Tearjerker gathering at Murray Lake, the weather was perfect at Murray and poof the next week temps turned into the 100s. DJ's cooking is always amazing and always fun to talk with him. You will have to get him to tell his story of the squirrel and banana bread. By the way, this is Genepaaul and I am working to complete my camping pod build which is not a teardrop design for the next Texas Tearjerker gathering. Your videos are fun to watch, thanks for taking the time to produce them. As always Safe Travels Gene
This was probably our last trip in the Teardrop until cooler weather too. Although we are renting a Teardrop in Utah later this month. Will share your pizza crust with a keto friend. Nice meeting you both. Looking forward to camping with y'all again.
@@CKAdventures2023 Cowboy cooker, Cowboy wok, plow disc cooker, and a few other names. Many sizes and allows you to keep things warm on the outer portion and cook with higher heat in the center.
Do you ever come across Copperheads or Water Moccasins on your hikes? We used to ride bikes at Ray Robert's Johnson Branch and when I was told to keep going, don't stop it meant snake!!!
I loved to see your mom she is lovely 😍. I liked the recipe ❤️ looks yummy. I have a question can you cook pizza 🍕 either over your rocket cooker or in your kitchen?
