All Dressta dozers are made in Poland with good quality parts. This is the same quality like in 90's with better Steering systems! Still best traction force in the class.
Sat in this dozer at Conexpo. Was impressed with the visibility. However, this is not the I H dozer I grew up with and on. If they had a stronger dealer network I might consider it. For now I will stick with CAT. Dealer network and the best parts availability in the industry.
Saw this dozer, sat in it. I am very enthusiastic about it. I am a dozer guy of 50 plus years and grew up on the old I H equipment. The old TD 15C was I think the best midsize dozer ever built.
Fabulous machine and video! My dad was the chief engineer for the TD-40B and 40C, first at IH and then at Dresser, in Libertyville. Being Polish AND the head engineer, he was sent to Huta Stalowa Wola for two years in the early 80s to help oversee production of the TD there. I was almost accidentally born in Stalowa Wola (!!) and my mom had to jump on a plane back home to the US so I was born at home!!! I have some great photos of the pre-production TD-40C at the proving grounds. Really nostalgic for me seeing this. Thanks for posting it!
