I love your looks 🤩 I have the stora dolls from last launch and I use it so often because I just really like the formula and how easy it is to make both daytime and evening looks with them. I am waiting for the new release to come in stores here in Iceland 🇮🇸 and then I will definitely pick up the brun and orange. But now after seeing your final look I kind of want the last one too 🙈😅😻 but I am wondering if I can perhaps get similar looks with the Natasha Denona golden pallet that I recently got sent from a friend in New York since we don’t have Sephora or access to so many good brands here in my country and if I order from USA or even Cult Beauty or Selfridges I have to pay almost the same price as the product in taxes and shipping but fortunately I have friends in the states that can help me out but it takes time. I also want to say that I recently found your channel and I really like your videos and you just have such a calm presence and are so sweet. I love finding new channels especially small ones and watch them grow and blossom. Those nars blushes are definitely discontinued. The afterglow blushes replaced though. I agree with you, those were great, the ones in the black square packaging.
I love the neo nude melting balms, I only picked up one shade, 51, I wish I had more but sephora canada never really got them. I was itching to get the 20 shade, the brown, but never had access to it either.
I feel like no one talked about them! I picked up the coral and once I was suspicious they were disappearing I hunted down the rest. It’s strange paying too much attention to makeup releases and realizing what gets skipped over.
I have the same experience sometimes with sephora. There's a warehouse in my province, in Canada, and another one across the country. If it comes from across the country it can take 4-5 days, if within province, next day.
Yes a shimmer blush for NC25 (which is about what I am) would be lovely! Do you have a preference for the color of blush? I have some of the deeper shimmers in this video, if those don’t look like what you’re after, Torrid is a beautiful shade. It’s a little less vibrant than Orgasm X. I've been pleasantly surprised with the liquids, but if you have other liquids in the shades you go for, they aren't SO exceptional as to run out and get one.
Love the colors better. The green is fantastic But i go for the easier stylo and green facete. Not a fan of the liquid lipstick. Stickiness is a no no for me. And that red is not going to be the best on all- i can wear it thou. But Thanks for showing it. I Will subskrib to your Channel now. Thanks
Thank you so much for the swatch video. I love Nars blushes. My only complaint is that the current colors released are limited in tone. They seem to be all warm, coral, peach or bronze with a few exceptions. I really miss Sin, I was hoping Sin would be returned. Sin is cool-toned, lilac/mauve/plum and it looks great on ALL skin tones. I agree that these colors can be used on all skin tones, they are buildable. Yes! would love to see your whole collection!!!
I agree that they left out some shades from the original lineup that I would like to see come back. I have the old Sin and there’s nothing like it now. They used to do LE blush singles nearly every collection, maybe with the reformulation they’ll finally get back to that and it’ll expand the range. 🤞🏼
new sub here. i loveeee the glow play blushes and own almost all of the originals as well as a couple LE’s, and true harmony, ginger luck, and pinch of marrekesh are screaming my name. i wanted plush pepper until i watched this video until i saw it looked more pink than the burnt red i was hoping for on you. i hope that shade is still available in the original powder form. my favorites have been so natural and blush palette, and i’m wondering what the new one looks and feels like on the cheeks. thank you so much for the swatches. can you please let me know what nail polish you’re wearing??? 🥰🥰🥰
My nail polish is the shade Perfectly Suited from KBShimmer! It's from an older collection of theirs. Most of my polishes and indie brands I purchased through Polish Pickup, or from brands I found through them. Glad the swatches were helpful!
Thank you for the review. I love the old So Natural blush. Based on your review, I wasn't sure I will love the new formula, so I found a shop which is still selling the old Glow play blushes and bought a replacement. They might change the foluma once again until I finidh my current blush and a replacement.
I’ve been avidly watching videos trying to pin point what to pick up when the collection is released online and I must say, you created my favorite eye look!
Beautiful look, I wish you would have shown the coral colored gwp it came with more. Does it zip open? Does it open like a book? Is it actually useful? I do love the lipstick it comes with.
Oh I’m sorry! Maybe I can record a short that shows it better. From the angle I show it in the video, the front is a flap that flips up and it has a magnetic closure. The inside is big enough to hold all of the products, but the eyeliner has to be diagonal to fit. Overall, well structured, a good size for a little makeup kit, but I couldn’t put my big phone in it.
I think you are the first person to review this! I have been looking everywhere for swatches. The lipstick and highlighter look amazing and the eyeliner interesting. It was the eyeshadow I was most intrigued about too and I think on me it would make me look sick 😢 I was hoping for something lighter, peachier and more shimmery. I think if I tried to wear the eyeshadow as a light wash it wouldn’t have worked, but packed on and with the eyeliner and mascara to fill it out, I didn’t end up with the irritated eye look I was worried about. I think I was hoping it would be more metallic. Thank you for subscribing!
Hi New subscriber! After searching for days after seeing the Chanel takeaways released online I decided to just get the takeaway in coral without seeing any videos as I could not find any until I found yours on the green one ! I had already received the set by the time I had watched your 1st takeaway video. It sounds like we may have a similar problem that is not wanting to touch or disturb beautiful makeup p.s I bought the coral / highlighter blush and I have a tonne of makeup at home which I’m basically just collecting at this point I say oh it’s ok I will use the next one I purchase but I never do ! After seeing your look on this set I’m hoping I can delve in and just do it but I’m really not good at makeup and it really puts me off using any of it ! You look great in both the sets ! Yes! It’s so hard to use the nice things sometimes! I’m trying really hard to get over it since I do always buy things fully intending to use them and then I get them home and they feel too precious. I’m also trying to keep my videos as “real” as possible because I think I’m okay at makeup but it’s absolutely still trial and error some days and I think it’s helpful to see people make mistakes and keep going, or see strategies people use to get things to work for them.

Hi! Thank you for featuring Chanel’s new Jardin Imaginaire collection. There seems to be a problem with the peach blush - I have seen other reviews where the blush is easy to pick up, and one other video where, as in your case, a lot of effort is required to get it on the brush, let alone the face. If I were you, I would try to get a replacement. (My Rose polaire blush from the winter collection was difficult to pick up from the get-go and now I have to use a dry sponge to pick it up - I should have returned it.) That e-said, I like the eye pencils and I plan on getting a few when the collection launches in Canada. Thanks again!
Oh that really interesting, thank you for sharing! I’ve been admittedly light-handed with it but I may go in with a spoolie and see if scratching off some of the surface changes it or if it stays tough to pick up all the way through.

I can’t wait to get mine soon 🫶🏻🥝 By the way the lipstick is supposed to feel sticky that is why you use the gloss to seal it. Only use the gloss to seal it. It is hands down longest lasting formula that feels comfortable and looks beautiful all day

Hi! I just subscribed today. It's great to see someone as obsessed with blush as I am! Haha. I noticed the shade name similarities as well. Ginger Luck looks so pretty, but I'm still not sure if it will show up on my skin tone. Gingerly powder blush only worked on me when I was my winter foundation shade. I might take a chance and order it in the future anyway. I love having Pinch of Marrakesh and Plush Pepper though to join my older Glow Plays. Yay for the shade extension!
They do build a little, but if you're much darker than me I'm not sure if you'd get a ton of color out of it. It may also have to do with undertone, though. I (think) I'm neutral leaning warm but it's possible Ginger Luck would show up more distinctly on someone with cooler undertones. But the deeper shades are such good additions! I may even go back for Big Diva Energy at some point but I had to show some version of restraint. Thanks for the sub! I love finding out there are other people who love on blush like I do!
I love MAKE Beauty. I think the only thing I didn’t like that I tried are the eyeliners. Other wise I enjoy their concealer and their single eyeshadows, brow gel, blush, powder, bronzer and lip products are excellent. I can’t do their foundation. I’m super oily so I run for the hills when I hear “glowy or dewy”The single eyeshadows are absolutely stunning. I think for the price they’re a really good brand.
Do you have any comparisons for the brow gel? I have such STUBBORN eyebrows and the Kulfi isn't quite doing it for me but I don't know how strong the hold is on the MAKE. I agree, for the price, I think they're doing really great formulas.
I prefer something fairly dense, with medium length synthetic bristles. My favorite (non-discontinued) brush is the BK Beauty 109 (go.shopmy.us/p-6187311). I have an old d/c e.l.f. brush I love, and I think their putty brush would work really well (go.shopmy.us/p-61874280). A brush that is too fluffy will have a harder time picking up the formula.
I think the really do apply differently. I can get the powder to apply fairly sheer and it builds really well, the Glow Play will always have a little more translucency to it because of the formula. The biggest difference between the two is that the powder is truly matte and the Glow Play isn't and will take on the finish of the foundation beneath (whereas the powder always mattifies what's beneath it). If you think that flexibility of finish will be useful to you, I could make a case for owning both.
Really trying to scrutinize them in swatches just now I would say the new ones are ever so slightly more matte/dry. The old shades also have more shimmer particle in them, it’s subtle but it’s definitely there. However, in the video I think what’s really exacerbating it is how dry my skin is. I’ll report back, but I believe with better skin prep on my part, they would look the same on the face as the old ones. I have super dry and dehydrated skin so if my skin is going through it, it’ll suck the moisture out of anything.
You Are Right. I have bought so Natural my fav Shadw but the old Formular is smoother and has more pigmention. The new has More powder formular it is smilar with hifhlighter powder not so creamy. Sorry for my english
These are all incredibly beautiful and right up my alley as far as formula! I want them all, but if I had to choose one it would be sleepy girl. That’s the type of shade I tend to collect!😂
Promise I’m not licking them off! The taste I comment on is because it’s on my lips and I can taste it. In between swatches, I wipe them off with a tissue.
