frick- watched this with a heavy knot in my stomach and tears forming; and like EVERY video that includes Chester, i can't finish the video. RIP sweet man!!
You missed out alot of very public, very easy to find info about Chester. To start with i thought that was a shame... But by the end, i kinda agree with your decision. You did a really good job at creating a short, digestible documentary. Will done.
I still can't listen to Linkin park is soo sad what happened to chester and chris knowing how they both died is just terrible and sad thet they couldn't find the help but now no more pain and sadness they are both up there making music together and free
The song What I've Done got me through a very difficult time in my life and helped propel me into a better life. Thank you Chester and the rest of Linkin Park.
Chester was in Saw. It was a quick torturing him being super glued to his car seat. He played the role perfectly. We miss you however now you are at peace. Amazing in everything he did. ❤😊
I read that he was sexually abused as a kid. I had it easier than him, i was sexually harrassed verbally at 17 and didnt recognized it as a big deal and it took me 8 years to finally and out of the blue realize that it was a big deal... i can only imagine what victims of physical abuse are going through. It feels embarrassing to admit it to yourself even though it shouldnt be. Btw, i dont give a crap what anyone says... A Thousand Suns was an amazing album and the Catalyst was the best song from that album.
I will never be able to forget the screams of the housekeeper during the 911 call. I hope she was able to heal from that. No one should be put in a situation like that.
And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. -John 3:16 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. -Acts 3:19 If you are in North America, please go check out any of the churches available to you: OPC, PCA, Rpcna, Urcna, or a Canrc church (These are conservative and actual Presbyterian/Reformed churches) If you can’t find one of the conservative presby churches then, maybe an Lcms Lutheran church. If you’re Scottish, I recommend the Free Church of Scotland and the APC. (Different from the Church of Scotland) If you’re English I recommend the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England & Wales and the Free Church of England (Different from the Church of England) Also online you can look up church finders for each of the groups, it will show you locations. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. -Hebrews 10:24-25
It’s funny that you can play as many happy songs as possible but never be able to get out of your head. RIP Chester. When it’s dark it’s really dark and no amount of light can help you get passed that. I know the feeling
Society makes this such a taboo boys just won’t talk about abuse. 1 in 5 boys sexually abused before the age of 16. So more like 1 in 3 as so much goes unreported. This is what happens over and over when these boys become men. You can see Chesters pain in every song. Lost is the biography for every boy who was or is being abused
It’s heartbreaking to look back and know he was telling us about his struggles for 17 years and he was never able to get the help he needed. His music saved so many, but no one could save him. RIP to one of the greatest singers/screamers of all time!
@@drugmoney4996 Because you're spouting conspiracies like they're facts, without using any sources to back up what you're saying. You're just spreading hate.
@@DesDocs Do you believe everything the mainstream media says is true? There was a time when people believed the earth was flat, but we now know that not to be the case. Is it best to believe everything someone says, or would it be wiser to do your own research and come to your own conclusions based on evidence? Questioning things has nothing to do with hate or conspiracy, it has to do with rational thought and logical thinking.
When it comes to mental health, it's a rigged game. There's absolutely no winning. There's only acceptance and learning how to deal with it, which never works. Often times mental health issues only leads to unavailing yourself. It's an extremely scary situation and that's pretty much the only escape. I've been dealing with it for almost 40 years and it honestly I've tried it more times I cant remember
@@graysheep47because he had a shit childhood that fucked him up for the rest of his life? To say something like that about someone who talked about his mental health and couldn’t get the help he needed is disgraceful and you should be ashamed of yourself, whether or not your saying it as a joke. It’s a horrible thing to say.
This is who I do it for. I was given a second chance probably a 3rd and 4th in reality. Not sure how I walked away from some of the things that have happened. I guess to real eyes my journey isn't over and there is something I have to do. Because honestly there is no damn reason I should be here. Except the fact I was spared more than once. Man we Love you Chester. RIP Brother
The sucky part is, I had bought tickets for their show here in Michigan for my wife and I who have been huge Linkin Park fans, and it was going to be our first time seeing them live. I got an email saying our tickets had been refunded and I looked online only to see that Chester had passed. I cried so hard. We love you Chester!!!!!!!
17:35 - even Chester's analogies were conveyed with suicidal attributes. He never had a moments peace in his head.... The drugs and alcohol only go so far. He helped millions but couldn't save himself. RIP.
