I'm not a musician and I have no doubt that I am probably the ten millionth person to point this out, but that is an incredible guitar solo, is it not? Out of every flashy guitar solo I've heard in any genre and throughout the decades, Hubert Sumlin's work is incredible!
2024,im 33 years old but i love this music i remember my HS life our P.E teacher give us a boggie dance and this music is Rocking to our dance we enjoyed so much Thank you your music is amazing
I've seen hundreds of gigs, met many famous and yet to be famous people for decades and that's cool .......but I got to see Prine twice and they were just settling.💚
He's picking and strumming on another plain now. His guitar playing is unmistakable and cannot be replicated. John Prine mattered and will be greatly missed. Few of us mortals ever achieve such status. Hope you make a difference in your life. I'm trying hard!
When you're friend gives you gifts you don't know how to use. It's like both of them live in me. It's like they're apart of my soul and a part of my heart. Despite never getting to meet either of them. Because george died about 4 years before i was born, and i didn't know he really existed until i was about 13. And tom i didn't know existed until september of last year because i saw his magazine in a safeway magazine section. And since then i saw him as a guardian angel because he saved me when i didn't know I needed saved from myself. It's like i knew him in my past life and looked out for him in that life. And now it's like he's returning the favor.
First blues album I ever bought. Has left an indelible mark. Second blues album was a Paul Butterfield, which only locked it all up inside my young musical mind.
Bully don Burns. Was salso a legend, i play blues harmonica, they shaped my playing style along with litning jack Sonny boy Williams and little Walter,i cry for all of them john prine was the only one that I got to talk to,he was awesome, I was a dj at thre time 2004
John was married to Fiona who was from Ardara, here in Ireland, a small town close to me. We used to see John when he visited there. A gentleman. Saw him play many times. Best concerts ever.

Never forget I was at Red rocks tailgating for the Avett Brothers in the parking lot. All these “older folks “ started pulling up in the parking lot. Some start drinking beer and they say oh yeah we are here for Prine. I was like oh ok the opener cool. Had no idea I was seeing a legend that night at Red rocks. A night I will NEVER forget. I realized later what a legend he was and grew to really appreciate him. He also sat in with the Avett’s. So glad I got to see him in an epic venue ta boot! 🥾 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k6Uq6PQNEoY.htmlsi=xzbicfMjQl80w2KO
