Ruhan du Toit, best-known for his jaw dropping rendition of the popular Simon & Garfunkel hit, The Sound of Silence, definitely needs no introduction in music circles. His unique four octave vocal range and natural talent behind the guitar and various other musical instruments, have not only opened doors for him in the past, but have also cemented his place in the hearts and ears of South African and International music lovers.
The musician who grew up in Port-Elizabeth and now lives in Pretoria, has been working in the entertainment industry since 1993 and was able to sing before he could walk or talk. He released his first solo album, Die Hemel Is (1994), at the age of eleven and that was only the beginning of this gifted musician’s musical journey.
Ruhan has also been working very closely with Coleske Artists for the past three years and can be expected on stage at two of South Africa’s most prestigious music events, Afrikaans is Groot and Classics is Groot.
