Congrats, Neil, on your newest gallery! We visited Neil's Watercolor Gallery (Peggy's Cove) on our visit to Nova Scotia in 2004. Later in the week, stopping by Albert's Wharf Gallery (French Village), we were greeted by Neil himself. Not only were we able to view the gorgeous paintings in the gallery, but Neil also asked if we would like to see his studio. Stepping through the studio doors, I was rendered speechless at the spectacular view of St. Margaret's Bay, through wall-to-wall glass. I have never forgotten that view! What an amazing environment in which to draw inspiration! Upon arriving home, we ordered multiple prints of Neil's paintings as holiday gifts for friends/family. (Framed "Peggy's Cove Morning" and "Peggy's Cove Dories" hang in our living room.) I see that Albert's Wharf Gallery was closed with the opening of deGarthe--which I hope to visit one day. Thinking of this today, as it is reported that Nova Scotia may be in the path of Hurricane Lee. Stay safe all.

January 2021 - Please be aware that there is a mammoth viewing deck planned for construction at Peggy's Cove by June 2021, with cantilevered portions of the deck that will necessitate grading the granite boulders, pouring tons of concrete, and irrevocably changing this iconic view forever from many view planes. If you are concerned about this issue, and want more information, join the FB Group, Save the Natural Beauty of Peggy's Cove. Over 700,000 visitors go to this site annually, and if they do, they won't see this view anymore, unless the plans of Develop NS are stopped or curtailed."
