It’ll be fun! They do the countdown at dotonbori bridge, nothing crazy like around the world, but that’s probably where you want to be for a countdown!
Thanks for watching! October is usually cool although this year it has been unusually warm and even now it is still hot some days, but it looks like it’s cooling down. December it’ll probably be cold but not bad. Maybe in the 50’s-60’s for Fahrenheit.
Hello, that’s probably the only best way to come to Japan at this point. They pay the most but you might get stuck in the countryside while you may or may not like. I hope that helps!
they only allowed Dutch, because at the time Japan actually had most contact with Portugeese. But the Portugeese were VERY religious people, who thought that their main mission was to spread their religion. The Dutch were also regilious, but thought that their most important mission was to make money. So they convienced the Japanese rulers that if they would allow Portugeese to spread their religion, the newly converted Japanese people would no longer believe that their rulers had divine mandate to rule - thus be more inclined to become rebels. source: I'm Dutch, and this is what our Dutch tourguide told us. You can learn more about it at Dejima :)
Wow thank you so much for the info! I will pass it along as such. It’s a lot of information and history compacted in one paragraph. Thanks again and thank you for watching!
I see what you mean. Yeah I made this video a long time ago when I first came to Japan. I’ve been a couple times since this first video. Thank you for watching!
