Yeah injury's and HIA's have made it tough thats for sure. Something needs to change in the way HIA players are scored/effected, especially if their HIA happens early in the 1st half. Hopefully its something they can tweak for next year

I went for turbo after his first week back and in the centres and had that small price drop. Traded out trell for him. Glad i did. Captained him over teddy and I usually dont choose anyone over teddy to captain but he was going up against the storm so i kinda had no choice. Turned out to be the right choice. I just traded May down to get Fainu as my 3rd choice prop so i could have some extra funds after trading dyl brown out to get cleary for my run home. Im left with 3 trades and enough money to cover injuries, suspensions and restings on my run home. Fingers crossed my boys stay fit and healthy all the way through. Given that the the competition is so tight for spots on the ladder, im not expecting too many players to be rested.
Great trades and captain choice. That's where I've faulted,....didn't go teddy, and didn't go turbo and it's killed my end of season. 3 trades isn't much.....fingercrossed your team stays fit and you don't need to touch those trades for a few weeks
Bro I did the same Ponga and captained him move but I think he’ll now become a pod cuz I couldn’t sell turbo in this form. Scored 1109 which is alright but expected to drop more than I did tbh.
Yeah your right, most people will be running teddy and turbo....so ponga could be a pod for the run home. Fermor had a good game over the weekend,....but Angus is on another level this year. Must have

Are you getting Koloamatangi in as a keeper, or just for the bye round? Your 2RF is really strong so you don’t need him (you’re also paying top price for him) and you’ll need cash for the run home, so why not hold KPP for the bye round, then nuff him out for $250k and use it to get Cleary or a second gun fullback when Fuller is done?
Very true, but with trades running low i don't want nuffs in the team, i want starting players week to week, and with KPP looking like he might be back to the bench, and a pretty oridary score over the weekend im moving him on while his price is still ok. Kolo is a keeper till the end,.....plays every game till the end, and with Souths at the lower end of the ladder he shouldn't be rested in rd27 unlike players in teams in the top 4. Im not planning on getting Cleary, im happy with missing that boat......but cash for another fullback will be handy. I think in the video i mention how im going to make that happen
I am not trading out Manu this week as he only misses 3 weeks of games and I do not wanna trade him back in if he starts to go well after he has returned.
True,...i can see how people will be doing that. But the Roosters also have a bye at the end of the draw, rd24 or something like that. I will be getting in players that won't be rested in the final week and also play the most games until the end
Manu to Marzhew is my first trade my other trade is potentially papi to Teddy but I think I wanna run either a Teddy papi or a Trell papi at the end other FB is gutho 😢 I’ll probs just hold papi for the run home. But I was thinking of either going smithies to Ola or brooks to Burton. Thoughts

I'd be buying players that won't be rested in the final week, in teams outside the 8......who play the most games over the next 10weeks
Scored 1192 with Levi who i now desperately need to flick. The 2 frfs that i sat on the pine scored better than 95% of my team, and ive had 5 gun ctws for weeks now and i swear ive never got to play them all in the same week, this game can do your head in. ☺️ Rd19 is looking rough for me now, ive got trades but i don't want to trade my players ive got for the ones available just to have numbers
If you have a solid team don't trade just to get numbers for 1 round. I've kept players like Olakouatu and Angus even though they have had a poor schedule over origin........but i want them for the run home.
I know right....sounds crazy. I'll have a better think about it during the week. But Melbourne at AP against a Canberra team that look like they are leaking points.....could be an opportunity
@@myauramusic Yeah Raiders do have a recent history of rolling storm down there though and be wary the sticky bounce back. Storm are pretenders in 2024 with at least half a dozen games they probably should've lost.

No hundreds for me this week and a dud captain of CNK can’t have it go good this year man. 842. Best score was fainu at 89. I’ve seen worse but it was definitely a good moving week for ranks.
CNK is a nice pod move though......but the warriors just got smashed. I traded out Drinky last week and wanted to anti-pod Teddy, so CNK was an option for me.......but went with Papi instead. Didn't really work for me, but hoping in the weeks to come the points will flow
Dude both are amazing,......weekly score, but that overall rank hell yes!!!!! Saving trades sounds like a great idea if you don't have any dead wood you need to move on or upgrade
One thing to watch with Faalogo is Reimis smith on the extended. My trades this week are Preston to Plath and Val to Teddy. For me Val still has a bunch of byes and backs into Penrith which isn’t ideal but only thing that lets Garrick stay is that he plays the tricky round 19.
Sure captaining Manu bad call in hindsight but Parra leaking points and Roosters scoring plenty and Manu having a career season in SC in centre. And many would have sold Lomax. Agree re Sharpe next week, hopefully be my only trade. For Fuller. Then Sharpe to a bye free Mitchell in R20.
The stats suggested Parra leak points on their right edge.......but the Roosters never went to Manu, they kept on going to the left all day long........i was screaming at the TV hahaha Yep very similar plan to me. I think Fuller owners its the right move
Got 987. After Friday SC predicted I'd get 1400+!! Lol then Fifita out, captained Dom young, then moved to garrick captain. Game over lol Down 3k spots to 30009th, 700 points behind u. Was hoping for top 10k finish after 5-6 weeks of green arrows but nit gaining another 2-3000 ranks feels like a setback.
Never considered selling Garrick but yeah Farnworth covers both byes and plays 2 more games so is possible Farnworth outscores him. Plus as you say likely make $100-150k buying back Garrick cheaper.
Got 14 trades left, like you very worried about overtrading, though had little choice as ranked 89k after R5!! Lol I really should hold trades as got 21 green dots, but very tempted to get Tapine for his upside. Have tons of cash so thinking it's wasteful to hoard it and want to push on with rank climbing; went up just 3k in ranks last week. Thinking Hughes to Tapine for extra 30-50 points, which that trade along in theory should keep me slowly going up ranks (if Tapine stays fit). Got 13 (only) for next week (14 or 15 if Galvin and Hynes play R16), so thinking hold trades next week. If Hynes and Galvin not playing, might go Drinky to Teddy, but seems too much luxury trade. Unlike R13, my 13 for R16 are much better quality, so expecting a good rank jump, as have May (get increased mins n score again), Taps (if buy), Hughes, Fifita, Blore, Katoa, Hynes (if not picked origin), Garrick, Manu, Young, Fuller etc.
Im thinking of making 2 trades next week to get in Hynes if not named for origin. Will have dropped a shitload in cash, and will trade out Galvin and someone else, maybe Koula. But if he is named i will be making no trades again
Got 1118, bought in Fifita n Hughes, so 2 decent trades I think I hold season long (unless trade Hughes to Cleary later). Without those 2 trades, and I was tempted to hold trades, I get 920 only, as captain Drinky, not Fifita, and play Lane over Fifita, and get sn e/e, not Hughes score as Hutcho n Hynes are my halves. Moved Hutcho to CTW so can be a R16 number, then sell him (to cash cow, or R19 number).
Hey mate start of this week 21 trades gonna be making a double trade think ill be in Fifta depending on origin though, FIfta , hughes and trell are the big 3 i want before rd 16 hopefully i can make it happen. 100% with you there.....the trades are running low. I keep trying to save trades but at the same time want to make a play on certain players. Hoping once Fifita is in, and fingerscrossed no injuries to my team i can go a few weeks making zero trades. Teams looking good, and should have depth over the next lot of bye rounds
I was stuck with Teddy as capt. Could have went to Drinky that would have got me 1030+, but saving trades. Nikorima and Talagi were out as well. Its was looking soo good before the round.

You just watch the Bunnies bounce back now that the halves pairing has changed. Latrell could have a great run over the origin period.......only issue is he could also be called up to play origin if someone goes down injured

Its a bit of a lottery isn't it with Nicho...........will he back up after origin or be rested due to his calf niggle??? No one knows. Not many options to trade in. Cody walker into 5/8 if you have a dual in the halves to move up......... JMK is a solid pick. I like Api for his coverage after rd13........but JMK does play all the byes
Sorry to be a pain but have you done a R13 count? I counted quickly you likely to have just 7 players for round 13 (up to 11 if all your fringe origin guys miss selection). If you plan on playing with 13 players (which is obviously ideal) you might need to bring in Armstrong now as brings you up to 8 (to 12), and more likely to have 13.
