It’s probably my old ass hearing but I could definitely live with the guitars being this prominent on the album. Forever my favorite band but I feel like the last 2 albums especially the guitars don’t cut through the mix enough to hear them clearly compared to their other albums. Maybe I’m the only one? 😂 nicely done my dude!
Very nicely done my dude! Really loving your tone and that sick Jackson you’re playing! You seem to have nailed every note and certainly have the talent! TBDM are such a massive influence, perhaps you’d enjoy our newest track where it’s of the same style! Keep up the fantastic work bro, definitely excited to see more covers from you now! Trevor was our hero.. we will miss him forever and cherish him always🤘🏻
I don't typically watch guitar covers but god damn I was just hooked. Very clean playing, very creative use of the pick scraping, and your tone is really nice.
This is incredible. Amazing work learning so quickly and playing it through from start to finish. I was just wondering what plugin you use to downtune in post? Everything I've tried has either been too high latency or just doesn't sound any good. Hoping to avoid spending the ~$200 it costs for a digitech drop.
Thank you so much 😊 I used whatever process Cubase has in stock. So I just select the portion I want to process and double click it, then on the left, you should have a bunch of options. Click Process and Pitch Shift!
Absolutely! It should come as a preset with the plugin. I'm using Nolly's 'Aggro Mids' preset, no tweaking whatsoever. A little EQ and Multiband Comp to squash the palm muting post production, but otherwise just simply that preset :)
@@SynysterGates70 nearly the same as you, schecter C7 in drop g # ( emg 707 tw) => focusrite solo gen 3 => ableton => ndsp cali => presonus studios monitors
Yeah this is the lowest they've gone. Majority of the song is in Drop Ab, then it goes down to F and then finally that really low C. Just slightly lower than 'Hell Below' at Db 😵💫
@@SynysterGates70 maaate sooo good!! Album’s a perfect balance of everything they do best but this is the girthiest tune i think they’ve written 🤘🤣 my personal fav outside of wildfire! Love the jazz bit in that tune so much. Do it bro! Be good to see you! Been working on some heavy stuff maybe you’ll rate
Yeah, as you can probably hear, I struggled with that as well... 😅 It's all about finding where the pattern repeats. If this makes ANY sense, this is how I worked it out: Short - Short - Long - Short - Short - Double and Repeat You can hear Matt do a cheeky floor Tom roll when Robot Spencer comes in, that is the repeat :)
Absolutely! I was so hyped when I heard the follow on from Light Show was the 'Vokills' instagram clip. That melody Spencer has "A lack of anybody, just caught in the middle" is one of my favourite things the band has ever done.
