You are sooo right. My supervisor spies on us and calls us on the phone if we are sitting at our desks. He tells us to get up and do something.. it's like constant harassment. My work is caught up. I'm just looking for a way out. They don't have cameras in their offices. So yeah, I'm done. They won't get my notice when I quit either. Screw them.
The set itself looks stellar. Beautiful presentation. As a collector's piece it's fire. In terms of practical use, a 7" box set where you have to flip and swap discs every track or two is stupid though. I don't know why 7" box sets are a thing in the vinyl community.
Yes it's definitely collectible and not super practical. But it's FN dope! 7" store well. Then the 7" 45 is kinda classic. Many classic breaks, funky and soul records are on 45. RIP Mark the 45 King.
Common got tracks with both Pete Rock and Premo I've recently peeped and both go hard, honestly wish roles were reversed with Nas working with Pete cuz Pete has more variety production wise...Com & Pete to answer the question
Dope assessment. Pete and Nas is a dope combo. It's a mix on RU-vid with them 2. It's serious. Not sure if they'll work together again every since thay "World Is Yours" issue. Preem gonna delivery though. He knows we all watching. Hip Hop 2024 looking alright
All we need is Jay elec and just blaze for the trifecta 😃. ll cool j and qtip as well. Common is my favourite rapper ever but Nas is the best rapper ever so I’m just fully gassed about both 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾.
@KtotheG I'm a Common supporter, but nah. No way. The six albums Nas and Hitboy has put out since 2020 alone, destroy that argument. That takes us back to 2009. In that time, Common has dropped 6 albums. Nas has dropped 9. He's been more prolific and his projects have just been better...more consistent. Common's best work was his 4 album run from 2000 to 2007. Your time period doesn't even include his best years.
Fall off? Impossible. These cats are already solidified. A classic album is in the making. They're not newbies. They know how to make music. And they're watching and listening to everything.
I'm long gone. Nah most people were sheep and didn't care about being watched. I was told legally they could do it as part of company insurance over equipment and such.
@@KUTProductionzMany greats in the game for sure! The 'who's the goat' discussions, the top fives, and all that, are not for me. Almost toxic... I have too much respect for too many MCs to participate in that nonsense. Still, if you put my back against the wall and I had to pick a number 1... it would be KRS. The dedication, the influence, his flow, the charisma, the beats, his strength, the knowledge and positivity... I saw him live about a year ago. The man is almost 60 years old, but he immersed the audience in the purest hip hop imaginable. Without a doubt one of the best hip hop shows I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a lot...
@doep You nailed it! Well put. Every Era has its greats. But yeah I've settled in KRS-ONE. Oh yeah his live show is the best. I've seen him live many times and a speaking lecture at the University Delaware. Got autographs and talked to him. Cool brotha too
Yo fam that's dope that you got the releases you were looking for I was looking for 2 RSD releases Royal Flush ghetto millionaire which I did get in person but the nas I had a hard time tracking down in person I was calling all over the place to different record stores on Saturday and no luck it was all sold out I had no choice but to go on eBay and purchase it but I did get a good price for $37.99 for the record and $7.99 for the shipping so all in all it wasn't that bad because on eBay they are selling it anywhere from $60 to about $90
Yes that Nas is limited and was moving out quick. I was calling homies and record stores myself. But was all sold out. I got lucky getting the last 1 after waiting on line. Glad you got yours too.
Yo fan rhat set is dope I got mine the other day I still haven't got the KRS-one figure but I'll get that eventually yeah on record store day they're releasing the Nas Illmatic remixes and Rarities I'm copping that
My copy of Magic 2 showed up a few days ago! I ordered it the day it came out. Still waiting on Magic 3. Where did you get the Roc Marciano vinyl?! I need a copy of Elephant Man’s Bones!
The Roc Marci was directly from the label. Follow Alchemist on IG he always gives a drop date and be fast. Because he sells out quick. Yeah M3 is a lil delayed I think.
The pink Elephant Man's Bones is a 2LP??? I got the black one but that's a 1LP release. Sounds incredible though and the gategold cover is immaculate in terms of quality. As far as the RSD I Am.... Nas had nothing to do with this release. That's why i didn't bother purchasing the record. It's like half of what the original album was supposed to be. And it has less tracks than the 99 version. To me this release comes across like Columbia/Sony just wanted to make bank off of Nas' new found hype with the KD andd Magic series.
I was on this job and they had all the cameras like what you were talking about...They would record employees with laptop cameras AND manipulate conversations and record how you will react.they are going waaaaaay too far.this company was beyond intrusive.and they would assign someone to follow you to the bathroom smh..It was hard to articulate some of the experiences I went through. It was down right demonic
