Welcome to Stitch with Lisa Bongean! I'm Lisa and I'd love to share all that I know about stitching, along with tips and tricks that I've learned over the years of being a quilt shop owner and quilt, fabric and wool applique designer.
I've created this channel to be a way to connect with my fellow stitchers! Here is the place where you can learn how to stitch, aqcuire new stitching skills, interact and get social with me, all while establishing a way to feel a sense of community within our stitching world!
I've been stitching pretty much everyday since the first day I picked up a needle and thread; over 20 years ago. In that time, I've established the mastery of a multitude of stitches and I can't wait to share what I've learned over the years!
This channel is packed full of beautiful stitching tutorials and lessons that will surely help you become a master stitcher yourself! Make sure to hit that SUBSCRIBE button and I will see you in the comments!
I just had someone give me this quilt kit (primitive garden) with the thread. I didn’t realize it was that old. I have one block done so far, I love it
If you use floss to do the punch needle, can you mix two colors to get more of a variegated look if you can’t find the variegated colors that you’re looking for
I’m so excited to be coming from Fl to see you all in your giant building for the first time next month! I enjoy all of the shows you do & can’t wait to meet you all in person! 🎉
Oy ve! I have a cute punch needle kit that I never finished bc I wasn’t sure I knew what I was doing. I’m inspired! I’m going to dig it out and get on it. Thanks, Lisa, for the tutorial!
I’ve done punch needle for a while. Your instructions are great! A tip for keeping your thread from getting caught is to place the thread ball inside the neckline of your shirt and pull the thread as needed. This keeps your thread from rolling around and getting caught. 😊
