Thanks for interviewing hijabi metal girl band they are the only one i the world for most of traditional islamic community what they are doing is considered a sin
Fear Factory is Dino. He's working that band hard right now making up for lost time. Milo is doing a great job singing and working the crowd. I'm sure they'll release some new music at some point. They've been touring non stop since 2023 so I don't see how they've had any time to write / record.
Fear Factory has always been Burton first as he is the only one who has been on every FF record. Replacing him is a very difficult task because of the connection the fans have to him. For months he talked about how they were going to release a song with Milo before they went on the road etc. and it never happened. We outlined in the episode how he has botched every opportunity to keep fans on board who are/were ready to jump ship without Burton. Bell just played a solo gig in LA that was cheap ($15) and extremely intimate with some new/upcoming out of the So.Cal area and from what I've heard, it was very successful as the fan response has been great. As of now, the fans will go see Bell solo over the new FF. The new album that he is planning to release needs to be some of his best work to date if he is going to get that band anywhere close to where it once was.
This was cool. Hearing about your outsider’s perspective glancing into what really made Steve special besides his recordings nailed it. He was always there for the band.
Only just had this one appear in my YT feed.Have been following them since 2017 when I first found them on YT.Saw them Live at Zepp in Kuala Lumpur last year - best gig I've been to in years! This is the first all english interview I've seen them do in all the time I've been a fan and I'm absolutely stunned how fluent they all are. They've gone up even further in my admiration of them🤘.Great to see they're doing the Glastonbury festival in the UK this year; even more exposure for these up and coming metal superstars..👍
"it's not fast-food music"....I nearly fell out of m y chair on that one, but she's dead right. One has to LISTEN to get the full benefit of Nightwish.
Concerts are too expensive for young people. Only old people can afford them. Young people sit home and play video games for free and do cheap drugs. Metal is music for poor people. A big Arena concert used to be $20. Now a beer is $20. It's not gonna work. Corporate rip off culture is killing the scene. You could work 1 shift at McDonalds back in 86 and get the whole experience. Now it's a month's rent to see a show. GTFO.
Lypsynching is for losers. The acceptance of weakness and fraud is big factor to the decline in rock music. It doesn't have to be that way, it's a crutch for musicians who can't pull it off live. Tracks are only ok for industrial music samples which would just be triggered anyway by a keyboardist hitting a button.
There is original DNA in Pantera right now..they sound amazing..music is better off with them playing shows & life is short. A new abum in this new era would be great!
And the families may be down because if they release with the Pantera name they would be getting paid to, can u really blame anyone , I'll take any new music , we know it's not some bag and Vinny but I'll always love new music , it's up to the original members and the family of Vinny and Dime
F Phil Anselmo, I love Charlie, one of my favorite drummers and I also like Rex and Zakk but it isnt Pantera without the Abbotts, its nice the tour their doing with their tribute show but that aint Pantera, 100% agreed with Tom here. half of Pantera is Vinnie and Dimebag sound is so unique that not even amazing, legendary musicians like Charlie Benante or Zakk Wilde could replicate
Oi mate! Cheers! This guy is a good man! I love The Spudmonsters. Biohazard is cool but I'm more into The Spudmonsters and this guy rocks! This band The Take rocks. I'm glad he's got this band and I'm very proud of all of them. Cheers! Kind pleasant and blessed regards! Cheers! Oi! 💪😊
Love the projections and the psyche rock trippy stage shows, so glad Tim stayed on after leaving as a vocalist. Helped create the Monster look and feel...
I sort of disagree with you guys on this one. I think the "fun" has moved, for the most part, from rock and metal to hip hop. If you listen to rap and r&b, that's where you hear the themes of partying, chicks, sex, etc. There are rock bands as well that are fun - Dirty Honey comes immediately to mind. The last truly, from start to finish, fun "metal" band that was big time successful was Limp Bizkit... and look at how much hardcore metal bands absolutely hate them. My hunch is that with Matt being so into the desert rock scene and Tom being deep into the more extreme scene, you guys just aren't listening to the more "fun" stuff. Bands like Crazy Lixx, Crashdiet, Paralandra, almost anything from Frontiers, Reckless Love, Santa Cruz, Steel Panther - all bring the fun element to their music.
The bands you mentioned are all 'older' bands who have been around for over 20 years (Crazy Lixx, Steel Panther,Crash Diet, Reckless Love). Other than Dirty Honey, not much else in terms of younger rock bands which is who we were referring to. Even Santa Cruz is a 15+ year old band. We're also discussing bands that are more well known to the general public which a band Paralandra is knwon by virtually nobody in the States outside of people in the biz.
You guys missed two bands that REALLY changed their sound and gained traction from it. Amorphis and In Flames. Love both, and find both to be better (personally) now than in their original form.
I love this idea, personally. Here in Cleveland, a lot of shows that I'd like to see simply just don't come here (thanks to Sonic Temple basically fucking our area with shows coming here. Example: I love the band Plush, but the closest they are coming to Cleveland is Flint. While I like them, I'm not likely to drive 3 1/2 hours each way to see them. If I could simply pay $20 to see their performance, I would. Also, given that case, I'd also pay to see the hometown show vs. the closest show to me, as bands tend to do more surprising things during those shows and also tend to have a lot more stage juice. I'm for this.
