do you still have that mower? MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO! so far, it looks to me like if you need a riding mower that can handle tight turns and lots of obstacles, that X354 handles the job better than a zero turn.
@@stin987 At risk of overstaying my welcome, would you be able to tell me what the tool you put in the seat mount-turned-tool mount is/was called? I can't find it anywhere by search terms like plough, hoe, ard, even plough-point (although I did find a "chisel point" from a site claiming to go by AgriSupply), or any other such terms. For my own case, if I build one of these, I'm more likely to use a modified stirrup hoe (the main purpose being to remove a weed in the form of turfgrass) in it, and also load some rocks or whatever onto the bike-turned-wheel hoe itself to help me gain leverage. How're you doing these days? World kinda went upside down four years ago, and now statistically ~everyone has had an infection that is known to cause brain and immune system damage and sense of smell distortions. Now H5N1 bird flu is spreading like wildfire through livestock, and it's already made the jump to people (not sure if community spread is happening yet, but it could), and governments aren't doing sweet nuts about it.
I had a solo stove lite for over 15 years now and it works great. Use it mostly when I’m backpacking. I ended up getting a campfire for when I am at summer camp or longer weekend camp outs. I’m now wanting a ranger. They gonna take all my monies. 🤣
Would it be silly to tow this, plus weight, behind a mountain bike specially modified with big snow tyres (to get better purchase on ploughed up dirt)?
Good comparison I have the campfire and use it all the time, was thinking of getting the ranger, ill need to sort out availability for free wood before I can feed the ranger. Would be nice if solo stove makes a unit between the ranger and campfire
The Lite is like a having a Large Mug size The Titan is close to a large peanut butter jar The Campfire is close to the size of a paint can I love my Titan...but have ordered a Campfire also...
The Ranger is on my toy list... I love sitting by a campfire in the evening and having the option to cook in an emergency, or even just outside when it is warm sounds great.
I have to say, this was a pretty great idea. I'm just waiting for my 5 tine cultivator to get here to finish building mine. I just can't weed a 3000sqft garden on my hands and knees multiple times a season. So, thanks for this helpful tip!
I live in cold climate and have a balcony with a stone floor and a wood roof 2.5 meters above. Could I use the small solo stove without risking injuring the wood roof?
I made a small smokeless fire stove similar size to the solo campfire. 2.5 metres high wooden roof is safe to use it with a solo campfire. I would staple aluminium foil on the wooden roof up above the solo stove for the first try, just so you can practice on how many wood to feed and see how far the flame goes
We have some pines that are constantly dropping tons of pine cones. My guess is the solo campfire would be ideal for that, unless too much pitch in them?
I'd say there's always going to be smoke if overfilled. Once its really up and running if you make sure the wood is well below the secondary burn holes you just don't get any smoke.
@@stin987 hi I just uploaded a video of the ranger to RU-vid its only very short but you may be interested to see it ru-vid.comud37PlTSVh0?feature=share
This happened to me when I would visit my sister right after her husband took his life. Also, the battery would drain for no reason, but again, only at my sisters house after the tragedy. I've also seen this same thing happen when there's a UFO in the sky.
@@hollo7646 I swear I'm not making this up, it's weird to say the least. Look up skin walker ranch documentary on the history channel (I think?), they have the same thing happen to their battery powered equipment when a UFO is present. I don't know how, but orbs and UFOs seem to feed on energy around them. There's even videos of UFOs absorbing lightning and getting close to the sun, then pulling energy from it! I know it sounds crazy, but these things are real!
Have you ever driven a zero turn? I'm torn between buying one of these or a small zero turn. I like tractors, but zero turns seem faster. The one thing about a zero turn is that I mow a few hills and I've heard zero turns dont like hills. I'd love some of your thoughts.
I’m switching from zero turn back to a normal rider. Property is 95% flat but twice, one of the rear wheels failed to get traction sending me off in a direction unintended on a slight hill. Ariens Ikon-XD will be up for sale soon!
@@stin987 no they're very hard especially the left one on my side ........they won't go all the way down idk if they're stuck or I'm not strong enough it's 2001 BMW series 3
@@Monkeygirl2222 It’s been a really long time since I’ve pushed some down but I don’t remember it being that hard. They are spring loaded however and you do have to press pretty hard.
Currently at 51 hours and it still runs perfect. It’s never given me any problems and still cuts like a dream. All I’ve done to it is change the oil and filters per the recommended schedule.
