We make the best traditional archery, bow building, recurve bow hunting, bushcraft, and survival skills videos on the web. Join Clay, Liz, and the kids on outdoor adventures from bowhunting deer and elk in the Idaho mountains to chasing wild hogs in Florida to practicing bushcraft and survival skills. We hunt and fish because we love to but it's also how we get the majority of our meat. Hunting is how we live. We also grow a big garden on our Idaho homestead. That, in combination with hunting, fishing, and foraging is how we get the majority of our food.
Loved this video , But I heard it through the grapevine 😂 that you had the runs for three days 😢💩💩💩💩 lmao , Great Way to get clean water , I would try to boil it if possible Thanks again for the info
Thank you for the explanation about the tree cutting. I'm not one of the people who complained, but I did wonder and it did make me feel a bit bad when I saw trees being cut in bushcraft videos. With what you said in mind, I can now enjoy the video guilt free 😊
I’m new to trad bows and I wanna put better strings on my 58” and my 60” any good premade types ? Just wanna get something good and better than the factory stuff .
My son heard Fen talking and got interested. Now he wants to hunt even more than he did. Fen, you are a awesome role model for young people. You are such a wonderful young man! Keep the spirit of the wild alive! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I live, work, play and hunt in Alaska. Many folks here have switched to the 10mm for their woods/bush gun. I carry a S&W M&P 10mm in a GS chest holster made in Wasilla, Alaska. I wear it all the time when I'm out and about. I train with it often and 10mm is fairly reasonable to buy for training. There were 2 DLP's this year and 10mm was very effective. Recoil management is to be considered when choosing which caliber to use. The recoil from a .44 , .454 or .500 is difficult to control quickly unless you train and even than is questionable when compared to shooting a 10mm with a .200 hard cast for example. Fortunately, Ive never had a bad bear encounter...yet. My take is only tourists and liberals from the Anchorage carry bear spray from what I've seen. Just my 2 cents...
If I left meat hanging in the eastern slopes of the Rockies in Alberta, a grizzly 🐻 would thank me. Thankfully, I have permission on property where late season elk usually frequent. 😁
Another way to adjust the broad head if you super glue the insert in is to use a rubber O ring which makes it convenient to switch to field pts. or judos.
From a 15 year butcher, this is done very well. However you have the Sirloin and Sirloin tip (Knuckle) in reverse. The sirloin (Here called the tip) is a much better piece that the Knuckle.
Love your empirically based approach to explaining water filtration. Have you tried sugar cane as a filter. I’m very curious what the results could be. Thank you
