The school I went to was difrent because I warned one class mate to put his hands on me again so the class mate did and I pushed the class mate as a warning some student witnessed it and the teacher I had seen what happend the student tried to lie the teacher I had wasn’t having it so the student got in trouble for it after that he stopped and ever since then we talked till the day we graduated
A girl kept hitting me back at school, so when she walked up to me, I hit her back, and I got in trouble. Mind you, this girl was taller than me and probably bigger than me.
Fun Story: It was 2015, I was in the 6th grade at York Prep School at S.C. We had a field trip to learn about the Civil War at Brattensville. We (the little boys) were taught how to use the line formation when in battle while the girls were taught the way of the home life. As the field trip was coming to an end, we were allowed to go to the gift shop and buy whatever we wanted. Uniforms, t-shirts, wooden muskets, plastic swords, cotton in plastic bags, etc. As all the boys bought what we wanted, another school bus drove in. And we knew that it wasn’t ours. We all looked at the students walking out of the bus. And we tightened our grip on our bought weapons. Then an idea arose. “Hey!” Shouted one of my classmates. “Let’s have a battle!” Beaming with joy of the thought of our own reenactment we agreed, however we needed to see if they were willing to do it. So we came up with a leader and two guards. We voted a kid named Bradley as the leader, me and one other kid as the guards. As we approached the other school, our leader tapped what seemed to be the popular kid. “Howdy, our school wanted to see if you’d like to join us for a reenactment.” Bradley asked. The kid, seemed interested and spoke to the rest of the group. “Only if it’s boys vs boys.” He said. Excited to hear that, our leader shook hands and said, “Deal. No girls!” The fight went on for 1/2 an hour, then we were called to aboard the bus. Looking sad that it had to end, we shook hands and agreed to do this again. Not a single boy was clean, we all were covered in mud and leaves. We’ll never forget our own Reenactment. “The Battle of the Schools.”

This was 11 years ago. This was a common policy all across the Nation. Look at that kid's generation today. They truly fundamentally believe that it's okay to bully people and that your rights are only derived from how you can bully others. They truly believe that it's okay to physically assault someone based on perceived political differences alone and that one class of people people are afforded the right of personal safety but not others different from them. That is what policies like this teach
"If one person reacts and the other person reacts back, we have to give both of them punishments." No no that's not how that works, you suspended the one that started it. The udder belief that this kid was suspended for self defense is wild.
I’d say to the teachers and administrators. If you don’t want people to retaliate against bullies, Then do something about the bullying before it reaches that dangerous level.
Ok so like what that woman said, she was talking about verbal. But nowhere in here did she say anything on someone attacking another person first before anything else
