The driver was cleaver enough to press panic button and run away,i wonder if he was not killed for trying to escape,cz aslong driver escaped it's hard for criminals to take the truck for unloading the stuff,cz they'll know that they will caught anytime soon,so for the robbery to be easy,driver must be tied with them until they finish unloading everything, then they will dump the trucker somewhere, aslong driver cooperated, they won't kill him,, that driver for trying to run away chances of surviving is low..but if ever he killed the driver, he's going to face life in prison,cz he will be charged with three charges,first degree murder and position of fire army, and robbing.
