@@ctphotographx Everything is going really well keeping my sanity by staying off the Sony Alpha Rumors site as much as possible😁😁😁😁😁😁! I hope you can get another copy of that lens!
You didn't mention what version of Photoshop CC you're using. Have you downloaded the one that's compatible with M1? Monterey is a recently launched OS. These issues will certainly be addressed with each update of both Photoshop and Monterey. It makes little sense to go back to an older operating system that will soon become obsolete. But because you already have the older laptop running Big Sur, you can continue using that temporarily when working in Photoshop. Without doubt, if you have been experiencing these issues while additional monitors are connected, then thousands of other Photoshop users will be experiencing the same thing and they will complain loudly and post these issues on Adobe forums. Adobe works closely with Apple to ensure that there is a seamless user experience between software, hardware and operating system. You are so lucky to have this spec'ed out M1 Max MacBook Pro ... you just need to be patient for a short amount of time and in the meantime, use your old MacBook for any glitchy Photoshop tasks. I am also a Photoshop user and will soon be buying the M1 Max MacBook Pro. I have total confidence that all compatibility issues and glitches between Photoshop, Monterey and the M1 chip will be resolved quickly. But in the meantime, be sure you've downloaded the version of Photoshop that's compatible with this new M1 Max chip, including each new update.
Thank you... I installed the recommended version from Creative Cloud, and right before I was ready to pack it up, Adobe notified of update, which I did, and no changes. Photoshop works fine on the M1X. But it doesn't work with extended monitors. I suppose enough people are having the problem to explain why Adobe posted a "Known Issues" page. The workaround fix didn't say anything about a different version of Photoshop. Yes, I did get back to work with older system. Returned the new Mac last Saturday and unfortunately Apple didn't even ask why. Said they didn't care. No facility was offered to describe my problem other than telling an uninterested Apple Store manager. I'll buy another when I see the "Known Issues" page resolved. I'd rather be patient with my money in hand rather than patient with my money in Apples hands.
@@ctphotographx ... Ok, sounds good. I will be curious to see what happens when I begin using Photoshop on the M1 Max MacBook Pro with 2 monitors, which is the way I always work in Photoshop. But it will be a few months from now, so hopefully the issue will be resolved by then ... I'll be surprised if it isn't because so many graphic designers and videographers use Photoshop in their business so the workflow has to be fast and efficient ... which would be the reason they'd buy an M1 Max MacBook Pro in the first place :-)
@@galefraney Please report back. I'm seriously hoping to upgrade. You can see at 2:58 I have a wonky workaround, but I'm not going to work that way. Also, the Adobe "Known Issues" says "Sometimes"... They list two issues but I don't have problem with the first. You'll also notice there is more than just the "Save As" external monitor problem. The window loads quarter view, and the image can float around in the document box... which I didn't talk about. The forums discussing this suggest that some people fixed their problem by resetting preferences. That didn't work for me.
Hey, Kristy..hi I hope you and your little one are doing great. We met on fb about 2 years or so ago. I am the guy that always supported you on your page, by sharing kind words on your dm's. Not sure if you did or not, but you were looking to buy that decked out mustang. My name is Osvaldo Deleon, that was also my fb name profile.
Hello, just saw your comment on a99ii video. You think enforce the aperture of the lens to the 1.4 with sticking paper of the aperture ring will damage my lens or lens a-f motor?I also wonder if this can give some damage to the brain of my a99ii..But if a99ii sees 3.5 instead of 1.4 ,it will not force aperture to fix it to the 3.5.So both lens af motor and a99ii brain will be safe i think. But i dont want to risk that, wanted to ask you before make this.Because there is a 4000 $ combination. Also i wonder another thing,Because a99ii will see the aperture 3.5, it would destroy the all crazy fast af specs of a99ii @ 1.4? I want to use zeiss 50 1.4 for my interior gym video recordings. Will use it with crane, so i need af in 1.4.Is there any safe alternative to keep af @1.4 to use af on a99ii ?Thank you.
