Only problem with steam cleaners is the thin useless pads that come standard. Is recommend these microfiber pads. Depends on the water condition in your area. Where I live the water is quite hard (lots of minerals and chlorine), so I use demineralised water from a bottle. I buy in bulk to make it cheaper.

Comment removed, I live in Australia, the store had a no questions asked return within 14 days for any item, I returned the item at the time for a refund, considering it was easier to take it back rather than wait for a part I did that instead
The machine is perfectly fine, you dont have to fill the tank up as much and I was able to do three good sized rooms with it....that was until the atachments you get with it melts, in particular the point nozzle!!! ekk!
