Just ordered mine. I wasn’t a fan of the gray color, wish woolenex would be black or offered in more colors. But figured it would be better for light rain and durability compared to the original ICON on black.

I know I am late to this video. Thank you. I thought I was nuts. The pack digs into my back too, making it very uncomfortable. I was hoping I could remove the frame sheet or put in another one (I would have no idea how). Nope. I can't even get my hand in to add some foam. I thought it would be a good fit as the bag is 18" in length, and should fit my 17" torso, but it's either too long or the bottom is too rigid. It actually bows out on me. If you found a hack, please let me know (I see one below). I love the aesthetics of their bags but it's not meant for staring at, it's meant for wearing as my back keeps trying to tell me.

Blackout GA-2100 and a black Evergoods bag, not a bad combo ;) Also bummer that the framesheet isn't replaceable (also kind of weird since it has velcro?), I took mine out the CPL24 and I like it a bit better. Was seriously considering the CHZ, but the limited main opening and quick access blocking laptop compartment killed it for me (not to mention shipping costs on the EG website to Australia-oh man)

I just got one of these as well and I don't like the straps or the way it carries either. I don't like how it forces you to carry the bag high on your back, I'm 6'3 and I feel like a toddler going to my first day of kindergarten. The straps are too short to wear it lower otherwise the webbing will rub under your armpits and then as you said, the back panel won't let it form to your back. I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger and I think I wanted to believe the hype instead of trusting my instincts. Don't get me wrong, the bag is superbly made with top materials and a lot of design effort has gone into it, but I guess its just not for me. A couple of smaller pockets/sleeves internally for organisation wouldn't have gone astray and some different padding on the back to aid with ventilation to stop sweaty backs would be nice. I guess though because the bag sits so high it avoids lower back sweat... For those who own it, does the bags loosen up with time and become more comfortable..?

Good review dude. I was having issues with the back panel as well and figured out that you can remove it by folding it in half length ways and it'll come out with some persuasion. There will be minor bend marks but they flatten out over a day but I added a Tom Bihn frame sheet to mine which increased the comfort dramatically.

@@stevengarcia8428 The recycled firefighter 24hr is in my opinion a better all rounder if you dont mind the boxy look of it. @aptoolkit9998 4 года назад
@@jimis3167 Comparing the two. I prefer the in-ears for daily use as they are extremely comfortable. They feel quite heavy compared due to the metal construction compared to typical in-ear headphones. The in-ears have the advantage of the microphone which call quality is also very good. Sound the overears do sound better, fuller and more balanced. However the in-ears have quite a unique sound that it is very heavy with the mids and low end but not overly exaggerated. Meaning guitars and bass guitars are very full in the mix that you might not notice with standard earphones. You lose some of the spaciousness and natural tones you'd expect but they do sneak in some very clear high end to balance out the sound. Build quality of the in-ears is fantastic. If I had to choose one or the other I'd go with the in-ears simply because they would get more use. If I had to choose one purely for music the the over-ears would be the winner. If you have spare $ get both. If I ever need another pair I'd definitely get the same or try the quad-drivers out of curiosity. Comfort and build quality far exceed other brands at that price point.

I have a pair and they don’t wow me. What if they’re a defective pair? I’ll never know. That’s all I really want to know, because to be honest, I prefer listening to music on just a regular stereo speaker. My sound signature hurts me because the high frequencies pack too much of a punch, and if I try to tone it down with an eq, I just lose the clarity.

Hey man, how do they compare to other headphones, like the HD 58X?

Very different. HD 58x is open back, very bright and spacious and natural sound. The 1More is a lot more closed in soundstage is not as large and bass is 3-4x more than the HD58x. HD58x is probably a little more comfortable if you can get use to the clamping force but since its over your ears not on the ears it wont get as hot. 1More has more of an upfront in your face sound which is more punchy and direct, providing more impact than the laid back HD58x. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the great review! I just ordered one today. You helped me decide between the 12hr and 24hr as I wanted the larger capacity, but maintain slimness. I was looking at the Brown Buffalo Conceal 19/26 before buying this. The two primary features the BB Conceal has I wish this had was a pass through strap on the back for luggage and velcro hook backing on the inside, but not important enough to me to pay double. Zippered closures for the front pocket organization and a zipper quick dump pouch on top would be cool in later iterations;)

For me it’s the perfect backpack- perfect side and (for me) much much better organization. For example the front easy access pocket is literally three times larger than the one on the Classic plus. If your less than 5’-10” or so I think you’ll find the Classic plus way oversized for your body. Check out the Classic v2.
