Surviving Cars: While the original Timelord met a rather unfortunate end (it was banger raced in 1991), there are two impressive replicas of the Ford Timelord still on the road in the UK today
@@stlkrdamn still here? Even after these years, I love that, I’m trapped by this game as Alex is on her endless loop, this game just awakes something incredible in many ways..
I really can't get over how much of a slam-dunk this entire soundtrack was. I can listen to any second of it and be transported into the feelings I had during this incredible story and it's so visceral.
Love the fact Drummond and Cauty driving around the Southern Spainish plains still with a London A-Z on the dash......brought back memories. Before Google Maps, the trusty A-Z was in most Londoners houses. Was he first 5 minutes filmed in the real Transcentral? A Squatted house in Camberwell- South London I believe- amazing to think many of their hits were recorded in that basement.
I hope for the future. I hope that in decades when my entire generation and I, together with them, become ancient old men and women, euthanasia will be available to all of our humanity. I hope that we will have access to a way to leave this world not in convulsions and agony, but proudly and stoically. and I hope that when agreeing to euthanasia, we will be allowed to choose a melody and a video sequence with which we would leave this world. for God knows (in whom I do not believe) I would like to leave this world under the snow falling from above and under the pacifying words of John Ballance. I would like him to ask first - “are ready to go new?” and at the end he added soothingly - “it just is.” and so that everything that happens between these words is pure, crystallized, sincere, breaking music. and it seems to me that this composition, no matter how heartbreaking, bitter and hopeless it is, teaches us to stay strong. teaches us to step onto the escalator, whether it is the path to death or to the markdown department. teaches us to accept the inevitable, knowing that this is the essence of things, the essence of people and the essence of life. we are all destined to step on this escalator. So why not stand on it with a winner’s smile. with the smile of someone who was able to conquer this life.
I saw them last year here in Austin. How old are these guys? cause you would not believe the energy they have, dancing on stage the entire show. But, man, Headhunter was intense. The entire audience singing along with the chorus holding up the numbers with their fingers. Chills, man, chills. I agree with others, this stuff does NOT age. It could be released to day and still have the effect it did in the 80's and 90's. And that's E "B" M, not EDM. Electronic Body Music. "It won't take me more than one strike / To release your soul from the cares of life / I'm your guide through the night / Through the night to the light."
