This is by far my favourite livery of flying Scotsman. Classic lner with the gold and black name plate and the wind deflectors and I love the whistle. It reminds me of 60163 tornado a bit

Me and my brother visited the Disneyland outside of Paris France a lot when we was younger, we went on the steam trains there a lot because our Mum and Dad found riding on Disneyland railroad to be a very useful way to travel from one part of the park to the other especially when it was very busy and there was a long wait for other attractions. it was one of the rides that i liked because people did not scream their heads off like they do on Thunder moutain
Elite Productions the one we are riding behind is the Roy.O.Disney. Earlier in the video we saw Walter.E.Disney depart and Roger.E.Broggie come out the roundhouse
The red one leaving as we are talking is the “Walter.E.Disney”. The green one that comes out the roundhouse is the “Roger.E.Broggie”, and the one we were next to was the Roy.O.Disney”
Just saw this video for the first time and noticed that I was the engineer on the show train. Been with the company for 33 years. The fireman, who retired in 2018, was our highest seniority engineer at the time with 37 years. Awesome video!
I still cant get over how many views its had, and to be seen by yourself the engineer and the other engineer giving the talk was incredible. Was a great morning, and being someone who works on steam here in the uk as well as 1225 in michigan, i keep wanting to ride the disney one 😂
Pretty good that the ‘engineer’ can’t even explain how Injectors work. Both fireman and Drivers need to be able to explain how everything works on locos in Australia to actually be qualified. That surprised me anyhow
Darcy Petersen oh im sure they do. But one thing we found was the engineer tried makign what was a very hot morning easier by joking on abit especially when the topic of lilly bell came up. Most of our group knew nothing of trains so explaining the injectors properly would have been lost on them
TheLostWorldFanChann i was more concerned about keeping the camera dry to be honest, and being that closer you either got the top half and cut off everyone underneath or vice versa
