Nice! How sturdy is the hot glue gun and D-ring method? I want to sell some but I’m worried the 12” glass mirrors I’ll be using will be heavy for this method over time
I love how you explain things that should be obvious, because there are definitely people who overlook the obvious i hate when videos just assume things are obvious to everyone , they aren't . then you also give small tips like pushing the nut forward to gove clearance for the next one . very little cuts fantastic . Over all making a great quality experience of a how to video .
Just wanted to reach out and say hello. I’ve watched quite a few of your videos in the last couple of days and eagerly looking forward to receiving my beginner kit in the mail. Last winter. I made a bunch of rag rugs, but my Parkinson’s disease is not making that possible for this year and I believe with some of your techniques that this will work well for me and I’m hoping also to get my son involved, thank you for all your videos
I'm interested in trying this rug tufting out and see if I can make that bread. Just curious- if I was to make a rug that say looks like a character, like Winnie the Pooh for example (and sell that online) could I be sued for selling that? Would it be better to just stick to custom work? Thank you, like the content, good vibes
@TugsRugs so im blind in my right eye and my left eye isn't the greatest could you show me how you aim your tufting gun as I'm trying to learn and already like it alot. Thank you
@@djmagnify thanks for asking for my expertise. I have a lot of videos that show you how to tuft. If you’re needing further help then we’ll have to set up a virtual class through Tugs Rugs Instagram
Awesome video, and thank you. I'm learning by watching for now. Question, sir, would it make a difference if the back is glued first before cleaning up? You are giving pro tips. Thanks in advance.
You don’t need a yarn winder. Just simply pull the yarn from the middle of it to start vs the outside so the yarn pulls out easily while tufting. I put the yarn on the floor
Hey there! Thanks for the demo and review! I've been searching the net upside down trying to find something better than than over priced wood one that comes with a lot of the kits! I was concerned about how well it held the fabric and it looks great! I'm guessing I missed the discount code, I think I saw the dated ended already! I'm about to buy the whole kit and it's a chunk of change! But this frame is the nicest I've seen so far. I was going to try the medal frame with the twist knobs instead of nails but after reading the reviews, everyone was complaining that the fabric won't stay taught so that won't work! I just thought it might be safer with Miss Accident prone over here not using nails! So I think I'm going for this one! I hope it's not crazy expensive! I am the Virgin Mary of Tufters getting ready to Tuft for the first time!! I'm excited and nervous to get my kit ordered up and start Tufting my face off!! haha No one talks about yarn. Can you use different thickness? Is there an optimal thickness and type that works better? A brand? Or material, like 100% acrylic, wool, blends? Do you ever combine punch embroidery if you want to add a different look? Should I get a kit that comes with a bunch of yarn or better to seek out my own? Sorry for all the questions! You probably have made videos on this and you've got some annoying newbe asking you all these questions!!! I'll check. Thanks again for the review, it was very helpful!! Happy Tufting!! LC
Thanks for stopping by my channel. A lot of questions you asked are personal preferences once you start tufting and experiencing materials and yarns you may or may not like. I haven’t used any yarns other than acrylic yarn. I like using the Walmart brand of yarn which isn’t so stringy.
DO NOT USE BURLAP. IF YOURE A CHEAP ASS BUY BURLAP. IF I BUY A RUG AND ITS BACKING IS BURLAP I AM SENDING IT BACK AND DEMANDING A REFUND. Respect on your talent, but stop being cheap.
I have that same board but I'm having a hard time with getting the yarn to go thru at the top. I pull it tighter but it's not working. Maybe I'm not tall enough and need to be on a step stool lol.
I watched two of your videos and gotta say they are amazing. I’m looking into getting into this my self. I’m in Houston Texas and I get a lot of ppl already asking me to start so I’m gonna say thank you for the tips and tricks.
