@@sultanamuzikir5587 I enjoy learning the techniques you share. By the way, do you use the leftover embroidery floss and what’s the name of the variegated yarn?
@@LoveEmpress Thank you so much! I'm saving the leftover embroidery floss to use as stuffing for my crochet pumpkins or any other project that requires stuffing when I run out of polyfill. The yarn is Red Heart Super Saver Stripes and the color is called Fall. ❤
I Love Ruffle❣️ Yes…., I very much like how relaxed the ruffles are, not stiff either. I was noticing it just before you talked about it. Niceness 😎. Ruffles have been in my mind for a scarf and cardigan. Thank you Sultana 👑💫
😍❣️ That’s such a good simple stitch and reversible. I’m certain if it’s crochet a little bit looser, the hook will go through all the loops with ease. I got adventurous and am using Jute to make a floor mat/rug. Jute is not flexible😆 and I loosen up the Jute by allowing more “slack” while crocheting and the mat is coming out beautiful. I love how your blue swatch shows the texture of the stitch pattern. I’m going to use yarn cotton and acrylic with this stitch like you and make a nice warm scarf. Thank you for the tutorial❣️
You're quite welcome!!!❤ I thank you for suggesting that I make a tutorial of the stitch. I'll have to practice more to get my stitches looser. I can't wait to see your floor mat. It sounds like it's going to be awesome❣A scarf sounds like a good idea using cotton and acrylic too. Happy Crocheting!!!😍
I love all that has to do with Bees! This is a new crochet stitch for me to do. When you place the white honeycomb swatch over the pink swatch, it stood out so nicely❣️
Thank you so much!!! I just used this stitch for an edging trim on a custom baby girl blanket that I was making. I thought that it would be a nice touch❣
Hmmm… It’s beautiful fabric for sure. I’ve not used silk sari silk fabric yarn, yet. I have the thought of using an even bigger hook to see more of the fabric pattern design❣️ Definitely have to work looser. Knowing me, I might cut the strip down the middle and make the strip thinner to crochet with or sew the strips together and make something🤭. Very interesting with various possibilities. Thank you for the demonstration❣️
Yes, it does help to use a larger hook. You’re welcome regarding the demonstration. After I finished this video, I decided to change to an even larger crochet hook, size 11.5 mm and it made it much easier to work with this fabric. I was asked how a finished project looked with this yarn, so I will post another video showing a finished project as soon as possible. Thank you for watching and letting me know about your experience with this type of yarn.🥰
I bought about eight skeins of faux fur yarn and I couldn’t hang in with my own natural patience 🤭 because I couldn’t see the stitches. I gave it good go. I returned it all. Now I see your video mentioning using one’s sense of touch! That makes a big difference, probably a magnifier too and now, I just may give the faux fur yarn another try. I’ll bring a crochet hook to the store with me to practice! 😂 Thank you much❣️
You’re welcome!!!🥰 Yes, faux fur yarn is quite difficult to work with, but it can be done. That’s a good idea to use a magnifier along with using your sense of touch when working with this type of yarn. Please let me know if you decide to try this yarn again. I truly appreciate your response. ❤
Very nice and good! I love Anything that has to do with Bees🐝😊. When you overlayed the Honeycomb swatch on the pink crocheted square, that was a beautiful visual! Was the pink crocheted squared made with single crochet stitches? Thank you❣
You’re welcome!!! I always appreciate your comments and feedback. Yes, the pink square was made with the Linen Stitch which is made with single crochets. 😍
Hi there❣️ That's a beautifully cute multicolor pack of yarn! Beginning crocheted and Anyone would love receiving it. Thank you for sharing about it🙏🏾❣️💫🪷
😆. Yep, that’s what happens going yarn shopping! Braiden colors and fibers. All the colors you choose are beautiful. I like the cotton Khaki color the most! Thank you for sharing your yarn loot❣️
You're welcome! It's really a great asset to add to your crochet repertoire. It adds safety along with your creative work. Let me know if you try it and how you like it or not.
🤩 ,👍! Refreshingly great sneak preview Sultana! I love the yarn choices and stitch patterns, the fitting on the mannequin and you modeling the garments! The music is kickin' too 😎,😁. You Rock and Work! Well done 👏👏👏!
When I first learn to crochet about 50 years ago. A coworker gifted me a skein of Red Heart "White" and a Susan Bates H/5mm hook and taught me how to Chain, DC and putting those together for a Granny Square. I'm left handed and she was very easy to learn from. I like Red Heart and still use it sometimes.
That's awesome! I learned how to crochet about 50 years ago also from a friend. I'm left handed and she was right handed, but it worked out somehow. Yes, I like Red Heart Yarn also along with so many other brands.
I just came across your channel, Hobby Lobby is my favorite place to buy yarn. I use I Love This Cotton for Placemats, Dollies, Washclothes, Soap Sacks, Market Bags. I just Subscribe to your channel. Looking forward to what you make. We can never have to much yarn🤭🤗
Hi there! Thank you so much for watching my video and subscribing to my channel. I Love This Cotton is definitely very soft and it's one of my favorite cotton yarns. Thank you for giving me these suggestions for what to make with the yarn. You are so right, we can never have too much yarn!
Hello my name is Tina. I watched your video and I. really love all the yarn. Can you tell me more about what you will be making with the yarn? And I see you got a lot of cotton yarn. Have you ever used it before? Let me know as much as you can. Let me know about that yarn and how it works.
Hi Tina. Thank you for watching my video! I have used I Love This Cotton yarn before and I bought it online. I made a poncho and a ruana. I've only tried a few of the colors. The yarn that I showed you in the video were purchased from the actual store. This yarn is available in so many colors. I wanted to buy every color there. The yarn is 100% cotton, very soft and it has a slight sheen to it. It's very easy to crochet with and the colors are awesome. In comparison, Lily's Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn is a little rougher than I Love This Cotton. However, I do like both yarns. I guess it would depend on what you were making, which yarn you would use. I will probably make some placemats, washcloths, and coasters. I may even make another poncho.
Thank you for featuring all these Premier Yarns in this video!!! Can't wait to see what you create with all this beautiful yarn! Have fun!!! Be sure to post your creations to #makeitpremier. Thank you!!!!
Yeaeee! Thank you for sharing your new yarns. The colors are very nice. I am intrigued with the bamboo yarn. It appears to have some sheen to it. I can envision a nice scoop/boatneck, short or, long flared sleeved top, dress, or cardigan.
786 Ooooooooh!😮that leather look yarn seems pretty cool! 🤎 Maybe you could try a hat, small bag or pouch with it. The sari silk yarn is always lovely in a neck scarf. Is it sturdy enough for a small bag or pouch?
Thank you for your suggestions! I think I might try a small bag with the leather look yarn. I was thinking a scarf for the sari silk yarn too. I don't think it's sturdy enough for a bag or pouch.
Thanks for this review. Might I suggest doing away with the background music so we can hear you better. I'm a crocheter, too. I look forward to future videos.

Hi there! Thank you! I can't wait to try more of the Mary Maxim yarn. You're welcome for sharing. I will be posting more videos of yarn and my review of them soon. Greetings from USA. 💞
hi i love mary maxim and their own brand of yarn, the irish twist had the word aran on it just to help you out it is actually pronounced AIR AN,not criticizing trying to help
Hi Linda, thank you for your help in the pronunciation of aran. 😀 I'm glad that you love Mary Maxim and their yarn also. I can't wait to try more of their yarn.
I have wool allergy too (i can only use superwash merino) and always looking for other natural fibers like cotton, bamboo, and just discovered llama which feels amazingly soft!
Wow! I can't even use superwash merino or any other animal fibers. You're lucky! I will be making more wool-free yarn reviews soon. Thank you for watching!
