I think for track use 260F isn't uncommon or necessarily an issue. Most race oils are good up to around 300F, and a lot of track guys will run a heavier oil so that it's viscosity at temp is around what the factory spec calls for.

I need a setup like that in my life, but for now I'm happy to have a sim cockpit, with all the necessary components. If it's in the cards later, maybe I might add some motion eventually, but like I said for now, I'm happy with what I got, good for you bro.

And I remember like it was last week, loading up and playing Castle Wolfestein for the first time and thinking, wow, this is cutting edge gaming, the movement, freedom, sounds :-) I just hope I'm still alive when we truly make the leap in neural engineering to seamlessly encode and decode information going in and coming out of the brain, directly, ala the Matrix.
yea, you could have done better, the interface is sweet, the sim is sweet.. but there was times when you was riding those breaks for no reason. if you knew the track more, like you know your back yard, you likely would have pulled way better times. just saying.. from a driver who has done sprints in real life in the columbia gorge of oregon and washington. which is about the same sort of setting and roads as your sim is using.
Yupppp. Vr sickness suckssss. Mine stays allll day until I sleep. I don’t get sickness ever usually, but if there is a stutter in the gameplay it’s almost instant
