The phone that has a 3.5 jack connector does not have a dac chip in its type c connector. For that you need a type c jack adapter that has a dac chip. The phone that does not have a jack has dac and works with all type c earphones. You need a adapter dac chip and works with all phones and earphones. I'm telling you idiots, dac chips know the hi-fi standard, 20-20,000KHz range, and even operate at higher voltages, and usb can drive more powerful earphones, while jack can't. I'm only talking about mobile devices. Jack is not better than usb. Hi-fi standard is the hifi standard, if you know it, then equivalent audio outputs with zero difference!!!!!!

I think you have to pair them, i ordered a aux to old school iPhone adapter and you had to connect them to beats headset for the adapter to work, so i think you might have to connect them to your phone.

I absolutely hate the UBSC-AUX cables.. half of them don't work, huge part of them have distortion or have weak sound, original ones are expensive and decent but they all die within a couple weeks, sometimes DAYS! It's junk.

I can only get sound in mono via the USB-C jack devices I have. That includes an Oppo Find X2 Pro in the box headset and a couple of USB-C to jack dongles I bought. Whether it's my phone or HP Spectre laptop I only ever get mono sound. What is up with that?
For anyone having issues I may have found something. I tried my typical gaming headset that I've been using on headphone jacks for years, no issues when connecting to computer or any phone with a headphone jack. Connecting it through a usb-c to headphone jack adapter (3.5mm) and it turns on and off intermediatly playing sound through both devices as it connects and disconnects constantly. Maybe it's a power issue because I connected small and cheap headphones and it worked. I assume it's too poor hungry and there needs to be an external source of power to keep up with the power requirements although these headphones in question have never needed one before. Hope this helps. Now it's time to find a solution for that.

I have a xiaomi 11t phone and I use the same xiaomi audio c converter, the audio works but when I need to record something with yhe external mic it is not working. Still finding a way to fix this. I hope someone helps.
