CAUTION: From my personal experience with 10s Guitars, I cannot recommend them. I enjoy and respect many of the reviewers on RU-vid, but keep in mind that most if not all of the social media influencers on RU-vid received their guitars at no cost to them. 10s Guitars knows these instruments will be used in a review and has assured that they would not be embarrassed in an unboxing and review. This was not the case with the purchase of the10s Guitars Chords of ORION model guitar that I received. In my opinion there was no quality control performed at all. Deeply disappointing, as after seeing all the reviews on RU-vid, I thought they would be different than the guitars you find in the Chinese marketplace. The Chords of ORION guitar scale length was to be a baritone specification and was shown on their website having a 27.7" scale length. The one I received was 27". The strings supplied were light gauge and for a standard tuned guitar. When tuned B-B as a baritone instrument, it was unplayable. The toggle switch and/or neck pickup did not operate at all. Although the process took weeks to resolve, In short, this was my experience when contacting 10s Guitars to advise of the condition of the instrument: In regard to advertised scale length on their website, they responded by stating the the scale length I saw on the website was an "error by their employee". They have since changed the advertised scale length on their website. They wanted video of the playability issues with the instrument, and it was provided to them. I was then offered a discount to keep the instrument. In my opinion it was not sufficient for the repairs required and appeared to me to be a ploy to move their quality issues onto the customer. I attempted to negotiate a larger discount based on my experience in repair of guitars. They refused. Based on these issues and what I deemed to be a cheap poorly constructed instrument overall, I elected to return it. That being said, I do have a "Chibson" instrument I purchased from China that I stripped and after replacing the pickups and hardware plays ok. On build quality alone, I honestly did not see the value of return on investment with the instrument 10s Guitars sent me, and I feel I could buy a similar quality instrument from Ali Express at a fraction of what I paid for the 10s Guitar. 10s Guitars would not take responsibility for their errors and stand up for their brand by providing return postage in full, offering me a small fraction of my return shipping costs. Again, in my opinion a ploy to get me to keep the instrument. I tried to negotiate compensation for shipping and was essentially told, they would provide the small shipping credit they were offering (Quote) "Take it or leave it". I cannot recommend 10s Guitars, but if you decide to take the gamble: Be sure to use PayPal for some protection. They were very helpful assuring a refund for the guitar and postage to me, but not the additional shipping costs for it's return Before purchasing be sure to find out what it will actually cost from your shipper to return it if you need to. It cost me considerably to return it to them. Lesson Learned.

Even after you created the video to show how to get a refund for orders you havent filled, you dont answer those emails. So instead, you are just stealing deposits.
Unfortunately, even though they uploaded this video in 2021, the truth is this: as of today, year #2024, hundreds of people who paid to have a guitar made for them have not received a refund, myself included (I made the payment 2 weeks before this video was uploaded). #10sguitars are a company of shameless, smelly and valueless people.
They will however keep selling instruments on Reverb and make more money but not fulfill any orders on their website. Honestly, I hope others read these comments to ensure they do not end up in the same position of paying a deposit but getting nothing in return.
10s guitars: a company of thieves and scoundrels, 3 years and they still haven't returned my money for a guitar that I ordered to be manufactured. They do not respond to any messages, because they are aware that they have stolen.
In the end, everything comes back to haunt you. When someone does evil to another, it comes back to the wrongdoer sooner or later. That person will never know peace.
Sick guitar. I would never need it and might just to tune to perfect fifths or something if I really need the range, but it's definitely beautiful and looks well crafted. I should point out that this is a set neck, though, not a neck-thru.
I went to the website to check some stuff out, I tried to add to cart, and it would not let me. I checked the payment options and the whole page would not load. Is this brand still a thing? I thought about getting a guitar from the website, but I am now debating if this is even a thing now
@@10SGuitars thanks for the quick reply, I found you guys a reverb, with great reviews as well. I was hopeing that covid didn’t take you guys out like alot of other companies. 🤟🏽
There was a user by the name of ShadoWwolf. I know this dude IRL Money paid to have a guitar made by them. They never shipped it to him and refused to refund his money and then blocked him when he attempted to contact them about it. It blew up into a massive online ordeal on Instagram and Facebook where other users took the side of Shadow Wolf and begin to absolutely Slam 10s on every front. Not good publicity. So rather than admit that they did wrong they simply deleted their social media that people could not see the truth. But the fact is there is no escaping it for them
@Irv With The Guitar there were a bunch of quality issues with 10S, and people were complaining about it a while back. The guys that have an online following all got sent perfect guitars to review, and everyone saw that and made orders. The guitars that average people were then sent were subpar. I don't know if this has been resolved or not. I did hear something a little while ago about how 10S was addressing the issue by replacing poor products, but I don't know firsthand.
@Irv With The Guitar there were also people that ordered 10S guitars, and they weren't getting their guitars shipped. 10S wasn't responding either. Search "10S guitars KDH"
@@MrSneakyPants ah damn that’s sucks. I hope they have as well bc I am wanting to order this exact one. Would hate to spend 3900 on a subpar instrument
