I miss when queerbaiting wasnt used on real people. Like queerbaiting is a term that specifically targeted the issue of tv show/movie directors who intentionally put a bunch of queer subtext and build up in their shows, and never pay off with representation and typically deny said subtext, in the means to keep their straight viewers and have their queer viewers keeping hoping and anticipating that representation.
