Yes, but it's terrible for your mental health and you have a GREAT chance of ending up depressed. I know from experience. I didn't realize I had been depressed (FOR 2 YEARS! I was depressed but just seemed tired most of the time. High-functioning depression.) until I did speak the things I kept bottled up and my mental health was 10 times better. So no, you won't go crazy, but it will make your mental health worse. And if you have a disorder it could make it worse as well (So for example if the governess had schizophrenia, being under so much stress of having to keep her feelings buried made her schizophrenia worse.)

Now, I'm aware that the area of Sweden they're traditionally located is Gotaland, but listen to how to pronounce it in Swedish. That is much closer to the Old English. Surprisingly, most of the names were close enough, including Wiglaf, which I though she might pronounce in modern English., but got the y sound that time.
