Does the MBZ 100 v2 provide any sort of added bass? I have the standard speakers and I do not want to change the subwoofer. I was thinking maybe only replacing front door speakers with this kit but I am worried it does not have any bass better than the stock speakers

@@Focalofficial there are theoretical headphones from 10hz to 48hz like the hd 800 which don't have a subwoofer, i'm talking in practice. have you listened and heard the 20hz loud enough to control this zone?
What kind of foam are you using to wrap the tweeters? Is it semi-open cell, open cell, or closed cell foam? Do you recommend doing it in all installations of the tweeters?
Bonjour, quel type de passe câble utilisez-vous ? Pour info, dans ma LR prop 2023, il y a très peu d'espace entre le câble et les parois de la gaine annelée. Un point concernant le montage des mediums et tweeter au-dessus de la console, j'ai eu beaucoup de mal à trouver l'outil adéquat (pointe Torx20 de hauteur max 1cm).

J'ai réussi avec un câble de frein de vélo. Pouvez vous préciser les trois cas de branchement du kit IS? J'ai un tweeter cablé en haut de portière mais qui me semblait non activé. J'ai passé la rallonge et connecté le tweeter Focal au filtre via cette rallonge n'ayant pas trouvé le connecteur dans la cave a pied.
@@giyom4469 Si le tweeter n'est pas alimenté, il faut directement le relier via nos différents accessoires inclus dans le kit, comme montré dans la vidéo. Dans le cas où le tweeter est déjà alimenté d'origine, cela évite le passage direct vers la portière pour ajouter une alimentation au tweeter, comme illustré dans la vidéo SR+. Hello. A few days ago I installed this amplifier with the 2 ISub Twins on my Golf 7.5 following the instructions in the video. But I realized that it doesn't work for the rear speakers, or rather, it doesn't work as it does for the front speakers and the 2 subwoofers. What do you think is the problem? How did you solve it?
What do you mean it doesn't work for the rear speakers? When using this amp with I Sub Twin, only the front speakers and the subwoofers are connected/amplified. The rear speakers remain connected to the headunit (thanks to the IW IMP 2.2 cable) and are not connected to the amplifier at all.
@@ToledoTurbo92 yep, that's what focal doesn't clearly say. They say the rear speakers will continue to work but do not say they won't be amplified. It's a technical limitation, so you need to make a choice. You cannot plug the front speakers, the subwoofers AND the rear speakers on this amp. If you want to amplify all of your full range speakers and your subwoofers, you need to add a second amp for either your subwoofers only or your rear speakers only. The easiest route is to replace your current amp with another amp powerful enough (a 5 channel amp for example) to accomplish that

Non, il faut le brancher sur l'ampli, pas directement sur une alim/batterie. C'est un caisson passif (y'a juste le haut parleur dedans en gros), c'est pas un caisson pré-amplifié (qui intègre un ampli dédié)
Je l'ai installé et vite sortie dans une golf 8 de 2021. La voiture m'a affiché pleins de code erreur car on débranche les HP l'ordinateur ne détecte plus de résistance ! Merci Focal cela m'a coûté 80 euros pour me remettre l'ordinateur a jour !!!!!
This shows the replacement of the door tweeters. The tweeters are not connected in the SR+. You can replace the center speaker and tweeter by the windshield. The other tweeters are not active. So You can have a kit to replace 5 speakers (4 door + center woofer) + the one tweeter in the center.
I honestly, I was hoping it would be at least 50ohms or higher, not 23ohms. No don’t. Keep making what you specialize in. There are too many IEM manufacturers at substantially lower prices that have sound that punches well above their price points

The steps were followed. However, I'm not sure how to install the second connector wire for music that came with the speaker. My system only had one stock wire for voice emergency, d white one. Any idea?
