@@friendlikeduncan Thanks! I Even Got To Dance With Mirabel Too! That Was The Best Part! I Did The Same Thing Which Was Dancing With Tiana And Cinderella As Well!
Nice video! Your backdrop is super cute. I agree that 2 credit dining isn’t a smart use of table service credits. Most of the character meals (with the exception of princess dining) are just one credit though.
If you're talking about the draw your own character show, those are on longer cruises. We ate here for two nights and the first night (embarkation day) did not have a show.
We are booked on the Magic next year and we are going to be right down the passageway from where you were in cabin 6152. Did you happen to ever go down the corridor further to the very aft (where 6152 is)? We are so very excited for our visit. We have a shared enthusiasm for Disney cruises so I am living vicariously through you guys at the moment!
How exciting! I did venture all over the ship. I’ll be sailing on the Disney Magic again in June so keep an eye out for more! I also have a Facebook group where we talk about Disney travel and cruising! It’s in the description if you’d like to join.
Sounds good! If you have a chance to venture down that way and take a pic or two, Id like to see what the outside corridor of our our cabin looks like since it at the very aft where it curvesand possibly wraps around@@friendlikeduncan
I have to agree with you about the characters. Meet more on the ship then you do on the park. I was on the Magic Setpember 25-30, 2023. Halloween on the High seas, so I had a blast during that time. Hopefully going on the fantasy in October this year. (Depends on work for me).
They do! I was cruising with a friend who is GF. Every night at dinner they took her order for the following day. If we went to the buffet, she just had to let a crew member know and they would prepare her order for her. The dinner servers are amazing and each night they brought her her own bread basket, dip, and butter so there was no cross-contamination.
After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), and rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures.
Thanks you so much for sharing all this info! I have not yet been to Japan, but it is a bucket list for sure. I'm sure the food is 100X better and more interesting. That is strange that you are not allowed to have your phone for photos. Is that true for other parks?
