I like your product idea but.. Too pricey! I can see a one time fee of maybe 50 bucks, plus $10 a year, but that's it. You could probably charge a little more than that if you had AI assisted spell check and grammar check adjustments, for notes. I say this because as time goes on people will use AI to develop their own such programs, taylor made to their uses, using AI of course. I can already get free programs to produce hashtags. I can already use chat or other llms too summarize, etc.. as far as syncing and cloud storage goes... we are very close to petabyte personal storage.
RU-vid music? (I subscribe to RU-vid Premium, which includes YT music. Saving (sharing) from YT music hasn't shown as album or song. (Shows as website screenshot)
Very cool! It would be even better if, when there are additional images on the bookmarked page, mymind could display them for selection. I’d find it very useful to replace a faulty screenshot with the website header or another image with just one click
That would be nice! Sometimes the page doesn't provide more images, or nice images, so we give you full control over adding one yourself. Hopefully you shouldn't have to do it too much though, mymind usually grabs a nice one for you. I'll share your idea with the team though (:

Biggest use case and time saver is simply saving little things -- recommendations, ideas, wishlist items, notes, guides, instructions, products, inspiration etc -- that you typically have to dig around to find, or often forget entirely. Knowing everything is in one place where you can simply search for it is a true relief for your real mind <3
mymind analyzes the text in PDFs and auto-tags, summarizes and titles it for you so you can find it later! You can't search any word within the PDF (because that would be thousands of words and would slow down your mind) but it's easy to find them this way (: Check out the video we made on this, you can see!
I really like the idea of mymind and want to offer feedback! I wish there was a way to view all content by date and just scroll through forever. Much like the default view on apple notes. While the app is no doubt beautiful, I found it chaotic to have everything in there from whatever date with no indicator. I understand that you want to keep the UI ultra clean/simple and I that is appreciated. But I always found it just slightly too chaotic to really feel like it was "home".
Hey Mackenzie! Does the time search not do that in the way you're envisioning? For example you can just search "July 30 2024" and scroll through everything you saved that date. Or search "yesterday" or "Thursday" etc. It's exactly what you describe, you just type the date rather than picking it from a dropdown.
@@takebackmymind Thanks for the quick reply. I guess what I'm looking for is a way to browse all content, but have it organized by date. Really its for browsing rather than searching is what I'm picturing. E.g. when you go into all photos on your phone's native photos app and scroll through, there's a little non-intrusive banner saying "yesterday", "last week", "June", "Jan 2023", etc. I understand that the default view right when you open mymind is already close to this, but without the banners (i.e. it is loosely organized by date/recency). I just found that having everything in non-uniform cards/images, while aesthetically pleasing, became overwhelming/chaotic once I was using it more and more. Perhaps it could even be a toggle feature. In any case - I wanted to give my two cents because I do like mymind and I resonate a lot with the "why" behind it. (I laughed reading the article saying 'you end up with a monster like evernote', I've been there). Thanks for reading!
does mymind use some kind of vision model to tag and describe or is it purely based on in taking that info from youtube if it exists. i was/am hoping mymind will have “vision” to describe contents of the video. it’s the reason i signed up for the premium plan, hoping to upload a bunch of short videos i created and have it organize/tag based purely on the video. so far it doesn’t seem to but maybe it just takes time ? 🙏🙏🙏
I don't use Tags, I created Spaces and when I look for something I go there. For me, Tags and Spaces are redundant. Thing is, mymind likes Tags so much and sometimes it bothers me. Am I missing something?
i agree with @stephenzeoli8117 I have been a member since pretty much day 1 and I would like to see more videos on how we can use this platform to our advantage with examples. I'm sure the community would love to see tips & tricks that we don't really think of.
@@thewebstylist Yesss! Perfect for saving handwritten notes, memes and screenshots for that reason. Or you can save the manual / instructions for a product so you never lose it but don't have to hold onto the actual paper. Pretty magical (:
I had assumed this would come with the update, but in a couple of tests it didn’t find random strings from a PDF. As the content is being processed anyways to run it through AI, it should be possible to also add the full text to the index, right? @mymind
Well, I took this literally. Dissatisfied with Apple ebook reader, actively looking for alternative for my ebooks anyway, then saw this. "Great, I can use MyMind for this too" .. unfortunately, nope. Uploading .epub doesn’t work and this is only a bookmark feature. Oh well. Useful in its own way.
Oh, Same Vibe is so mind blowing! I think that to obtain the best from all the insightful features that mymind offers, we have to build a huge collections of items. It takes time, but it's worth it!
The bookmark-and-forget-it (then-recall-it) is truly amazing. I'll broadly use it with my web browser as well as my smartphone to test its features. But already I know I'll be mymind addicted :)
Don’t listen to the negative comments, this thing is great. Someone suggested this app on yt shots and god, Ive been using this app everyday since then. If you use an ios device, edit your share list and add this app on top. Works like charm 😍
I think what they're trying to go for is "get a place to write your thoughts down without anyone else being able to change them." In other words, thinking with only yourself

This is such an amazing concept I have been using it as a collect all for notes I had stockpiled in my apple notes. Finally I feel like they are organized now and one day when I have time I can look back again my ideas. Also no longer do I have to leave tabs open in safari or google or save just simple reminder screenshots into my rapidly decreasing photo album. I hit share and boom there it is! 💪🏼👏🏼
