Just flew in on 3/22/24 from Doha To IAD and mind blowing service on business class, A nice Indian man and a kind Asian man made my trip stress free and enjoyable on QA 707. Thanks Qatar, I will definitely fly again with u and recommend u to all❤
Great vids!!. I am booking a flight from IST-IAD. The reversed flight of what you took. On the reservation, it shows that it is a 359 which I would assume is TK's new biz class. But your vid kind of confused me. I thought for IST-IAD or IAD-IST, they will be the same model of aircraft? or maybe they recently changed?
damn i used to live in va and right next to iad, so now i took this exact flight yesterday and connected to dubai and now i live in dubai, and its a weird feeling to know that you were right next to me on that day
Great video. I just was on this flight last week. Although Qatar airways is good, this was the most painful flight of my life. Granted I have been traveling a lot for work lately this year, and in the couple of weeks preceding the return trip from Doha, I had spent a combined 30+ hours on planes, the longest legs were around 8 hours. But then on the way out there and the way back, this leg alone is 14 hours. Brutal! I had tried to get business seats both ways but there were none available. I did get extra leg room economy seats though, but 14 hours in one plane is brutal. The service was still good and 3 meals and lots of drinks, but really if you can afford business class this is the trip to get it. Especially if before this leg you just had another 5 hour one.
The seating configuration is very important. Passengers in Business Class expect modern seating, not some old 2-3-2 configuration. I am ready to give Turkish a try but not in one of the old style layouts.
The cabin was new and modern, but it's a bit sad to see your broken table. I think having touchscreen remote control in economy is very nice. It's a shame you got this service with Emirates, I expected a much better one.
Were the security at the airport hostile since you are Iranian? I’m asking because I once had a flight from Tehran to Baku and in Baku they were very hostile and they gave us a hard time. Also did you have to pay departure tax in ist airport?
