hi ya my transit 2.5 1996 will not start. It turns over but will not start. I have a chip in my key but i cant see any led by the ignitntion. Also the tank in the sender is there a pump maybe its that
I think my problem is worse though. I heard a gunshot while I was driving along. I'm sure one of the modules exploded. Time to pull the cover again. But your analysis of the potential problem was excellent. I have a question; Why does no one use dielectric grease to stop the corrosion on the pins?
@@cornishrob123 I found dielectric grease in the headlight jacks, but nowhere else. Strange that they failed to use it anywhere else. I think it's the best bet on keeping this corrosion under control. I don't have any handy and my car is dead in the driveway, but I may take it out and limp down to the store for some. Why Toyota and none of the repair efforts suggest it is another question for the sphinx. Is everyone nuts? Go down to a marine shop and it's a very common item. Marine items need much more protection. I had used No-Ox-Id on electrical work elsewhere but I don't know if that's the exact product in vogue these days. Thanks for your reply. Sorry I'm late. Alot of owners ran a cable from the positive side of the battery into the wall of the trunk so that if you ever need to put jumping cables on the battery it made it a lot easier with the positive inside the trunk . Or as I'm sure you know just use a screwdriver on the positive terminal to allow the booster cable positive clamp to clamp on to something . Yes I had this bike , loved it , but just sold it to buy a NT700 . A very well engineered and reliable bike but whoever engineered the battery location should have been fired .

To me that looks more like a lump of badly founded metal from an old iron foundry ... the bubbles and voids in the middle are not typical of a meteorite and would have caused the rock to explode when heated in the upper atmosphere, if it had ever flown in. You have to discount the Earthly before saying it is heavenly ;) Iron has been made for thousands of years in every village and town across Europe so it is very very common to find something like this - a byproduct of human activity.
@@cornishrob123 - probably just because it's a solid lump? Meteoritic iron is primarily iron with a bit of nickel in it (I think) so it's not particularly special and will behave very similarly to lumps of iron here on Earth or foundry waste. If cut carefully there is a crystal structure in the metal but it's easily confused with the scratches caused by using an angle grinder etc :) I don't see any sign of a fusion crust on this lump either but you always get a lot of people who say they can see it and it's 100% a meteorite. People love to find rare things but I suspect that they just have large collections of iron slag ;)

Iron meteorites are mostly iron with a little Nickle in them (from memory) so they should behave very similarly to a block of the same metal here on Earth. You do get the crystal structure in some but it's easily confused wit hthe scratches from angle grinders etc and only comes out after specific treatment. Also, I don't really detect any fusion crust on your specimen - it looks way too rough and a bit rusty, like it has been in the ground a while. You'll always get a lot of other people jumping in to confirm "100%" that it's a meteorite because there is a large community of people who are interested in them and I think a lot of them are overly optimistic about finds. I expect that most of them have large collections of iron slag ;)
Was it easier to just change out the fuel pump relay rather than do all the setup? I think my k1200rs is starting to show signs of a failing relay. It starts and runs but after the bike gets hot the idle start to hunt, sometimes it picks up and other times it shuts down. I have changed the fuel pump to a brand new one but issues still there.
Hello there bud,know it's been a while since you've posted the video,just wanted to ask you about something. When I press the button of the boot to open sometimes it does work and sometimes it doesn't. Any idea what the issue might be please? Be having the car for 3 months now and it's been 3 weeks since I've realised it's been doing this with the boot button

I know this is an old video. But do all Corsa D have dual mass? Mine is due in garage for clutch to be replaced, but the garage claim it isnt dual mass and its just a clutch that needs replacing, they havent actually looked at the car yet he went to get a quote on how much it would be because he himself at the garage mentioned the dual mass flywheel but comes back to me and says from what his system says its solid flywheel no dual mass, i always thought all corsa d 1.3 cdti's were dual mass.
its great that you have removed the clutch pedal, but boy you need to get your info in order, its very hard to understand what order you did and what to do, I have more questions than answers now! Try filming as you go and work on your editing!
I get the red triangle when it rains, I did put silicone on the cracks but still it leaks in from somewhere else. My question is what actually shorts out when rain water gets in, where is that plug so I can clean it and put some grease to stop it in the future. Thanks
