I dont understand why you used angular velocity in the equation for calculating torque. Torque equals moment of inertia times angular acceleration and not angular velocity.
Same this video been helpful but can i ask consider Resultant force R,R=U+V why is magnitude of R²=U²+V²+ 2UVcos@ (where @# is the angles between U and V) instead of - 2UVcos@
