Thank you for the video. I lived in the area a number of years ago and it was great to re-visit in. I'm wondering when this service was introduced. I thought the driving was highly professional.
Day 3 - thanks for the recommendation. Lotsa narrow no-centre-line roads with villages and fields - paused and Wiki-searched Walsingham, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall and Sandringham. Great ride, Tx.
What an absolutely beautiful day you got for this bus journey. I must admit I have saw this particular route once before on Eurasia Transport but its such a lovely journey particularly when you get such good fortune with the weather it really makes it worth watching again. Yorkshire at this time of year is very beautiful i especially love the likes of the Cherry Blossom on the trees.
It was a lovely day. Sometimes it's worth watching the rides as the days aren't the same weather wise and also street activities can vary between days and seasons. I still have more rides to do in Yorkshire
Pity Lynx buses aren’t part of the capped £2 single fare scheme. I went from Heacham to Wells and back on this service a couple of weeks beforehand, very scenic 😃
Ive no problem with anyone let me pre fix comment with that but dont seemto watch any ride without a polish family chatting in background and with my problem s i admire people who can move to a new country to work
wow -I spread this over 3 days - but highway (A47) with fields of corn, rape seed and cabbages (?) with side trips to Wisbech, Swaffham and Dereham are delightful. I follow with audio off but a track or 2 from Spotify. And I follow on AtoZ map. Fen country is beautiful at this time of year. Tx.
Good idea to watch the long videos. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I like the Norfolk countryside. I also did the coastliner 36 from Fakenham to King's Lynn you may enjoy that too. Thank you for watching and commenting
I like Norfolk too, it was my first time there and I hope to return. It is a long route hence the length. Best watched in two parts. Thank you for watching and commenting
The alternative is to mute the volume. The second option is to buy a microphone. The channel is not big enough to afford it. Thank you for watching and commenting
I used two different devices. This part was filmed using a GoPro, it's useless for these types of videos. I wasted my money. The phone is way better for filming but it can't film for more than one hour as it overheats. These are challenges of making these sorts of videos. The things that the viewers don't see. I appreciate you watching the videos with such attention to detail.
Can't really decide if the young woman with the loud voice is Australian or American. Certainly the young men who are with her sound much more local, Southern England but definitely not London. They sound like they are really quite relaxed and enjoying themselves but a again could do with just turning the volume down a wee bit. I know that some people would obviously say that you shouldn't really listen into other people's conversations but like most situations I think that is a two-way street and I would argue that when people talk as loud then they make it very challenging not to listen. They have a responsibility to themselves and to everyone else who is using the bus or train to be more aware of their level of noise. This is one aspect where I definitely think that we miss a bus conductor. Because the train guard would just say to them quite politely to turn the volume down.
I think the young woman was an American. I noticed you get more chatter on buses in summer, winter time people tend to be quiet. It's hard not to listen to conversations when people are loud.
@@busouting yes, exactly but the good thing was it was clear that they were no real threat to anyone and they were obviously in good spirits which is nice to see. However my experience with Americans is once they get started in a situation like that they don't really know when to stop talking. During the winter months people can seem a wee bit subdued due to lack of sunlight, bad weather,, seasonal illness or simply SADS where some people just get a wee bit down due to the different seasons. But obviously it's a bright Sunny afternoon and the trees are looking beautiful.
I always knew that Norwich was a considerable way across from Peterborough and Cambridge direction but it's only when you are seeing it like this are you appreciating just how far.
It is a distance from Peterborough especially with the bus as it takes a specific route. It was my first time in Norfolk county and I liked what I saw. God willing I will return. Thank you for watching and supporting the channel. I appreciate it 🙏
@@busouting I am sure that Norfolk is a chosen area by the government for to spearhead Hydrogen fuel technology for use in cars, vans, buses and trucks etc. As well as other uses. Particularly the North Coast near Cromer.
@@busouting sometimes its selfish parents who simply don't really give a Castlemaine XXXX about anyone or anything. But obviously nowadays we have to be aware that the kids might simply be Autistic - like myself. However those sounded more like the first category. And I do know that the further South you go in England, the nastier and more ignorant people can be generally.
Well, that was an annoyingly loud travelling party. First of all these badly behaved brats, although I was surprised that nobody said anything at some point. I always make myself unpopular in such cases when I tell the parents to please slow their children down. Then there was the woman who talked without interruption and the guy who thought that everything he had to say was so important that it had to be heard within a 10-mile radius. That some people just aren't able to talk at a normal volume, but always sound like they're standing on a stage and giving speeches.
It's well with it. Just remember to allow enough time as it is a long journey, my video is edited so it is not the full length. I hope you enjoy the ride. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Really looking forward to that. ☺️Thank you for filling in many of the gaps no one else had filmed and for all the interesting new routes and areas you've shown us! 🙂
That corner at 35:00, not exactly designed for double decker buses. This is another good example of just how skilled and professional these Stagecoach drivers are, they really do deserve a lot more credit than they often receive. That's why, it's always polite just to take the time to thank the driver as you get off - it's good manners and I know that many of them really appreciate it. Helps them feel better about their day in general.
I think the drivers do a brilliant job. I agree it's always good to thank them. Thank you for watching with such good attention to details and commenting. I appreciate your support
You have been paying attention to Eurasia Transport RU-vid channel. I am just noticing how you have adopted some of his methods and how he does some things. Not a bad role model at all. It demonstrates that you have a "template" a way of doing things and it will be that way for very good reason I have no doubt. Anyway best of luck with your future Bus journey videos and your RU-vid channel.
@@2024bambams I already have this in mind, but it will have to wait due to the current climate. I don't feel comfortable going to Leeds or Bradford at the moment. Thank you for your comment
Thank you for this journey. Many years ago, I visited Boston by train mainly for the famous church. But also, as an Australian, because of the connection to Matthew Flinders, whose name is legend here. He and George Bass were the first explorers to circumnavigate our continent. I live near the You Yangs, a small range of mountains not far from Geelong, whose highest point was climbed by Flinders after he hiked in from the bay. He named this summit Flinders Peak. In Melbourne, a street and its big railway station are named Flinders Street, and opposite the station is St Paul's Cathedral outside which is a statue of Flinders standing in a small boat. Also in Victoria, is the big Flinders naval base of the RAN. In South Australia, there are the spectacular Flinders Ranges and, in Adelaide, Flinders University and Flinders Street. On another note, in this video I noticed more trucks, including semi-trailers, than I've ever seen before in your other journeys.
@@brucewilliams8714 Thank you for the information. I didn't know that. I visited Boston town and moved around the town but I didn't know this info. Also I spent 2 years in Australia and I didn't know that 😊. Thank you for your comment
I used to ride that bus every day for 3 year to Barnsley brick college 45 years ago and a lot has changed a lot of roundabouts even Barnsley bus station seems to have changed
