Hello and Welcome, Here in this channel I Restore and or Mod Run down Gear, Tools, Controllers, Skating Gear and my Ute. I'm just an average Local Bloke from Western Australia, trying to do the right thing and give a new life to old stuff.
I plan to Donate most of my Restorations also Sell to support the channel. Come along with me and hope you enjoy my content. Check my Facebook to see updates and where the gear ends up too!
Good finish! I'm currently doing something similar with an actual pickaxe (this is actually a mattock), and I like the colour of the stain you went with for the handle!
best regards from Italy Florence a question about the snorkel I see many snorkels on many off road vehicles that have the mushroom tube turned towards the rear of the 4x4 off road vehicle and does anyone have the mushroom tube turned towards the front of the 4x4? All terrain vehicle? (and some off-road vehicles. Does the 4x4 have a cyclone mushroom like an agricultural or earth-moving machine?) Merry Christmas 2023 from Italy Florence!)
Usually the mushroom dome is a stock factory snorkel which is designed for dust not water since it’s a three peace snorkel not one peace like a safari snorkel
Very cool... im 60 years young and ive just started restoring these classic bike..Awesomeness..i do like keeping the some of the patina..each is to their own..
I’m restoring my bike from teenage years. I put on a new rear tire and now when I tighten down one side to make the chain tight I can’t get the other side to tighten up and the front wheel won’t line up right and when I tighten it up it stops spinning
Usually if it’s rusting inside, I wouldn’t try and save them and use them. Alittle risky if you miss some rust. But paint stripper and soat it in rust converter
Hy Alex, nice to see some new things you’re working on. That was really a difficult job to disassemble the parts. Good paint job and I stay tuned for the next video to come. The Makita Drill does its job 👍 have a nice evening and I hope you will succeed with the project. Greetings from Germany, Maik 😘👍🌞🍀💪
Great too see ya here!! Yeah the drills have saved me so much time! I’ve ordered some small parts that will let me finish putting it back together. Hopefully in a week they’ll come Thanks for watching, I appreciate it
@@aussierestorationsmods2715 cool, so you’ll be able to go forward. Theoretically I could do these things, too 😂 But only theoretically, I always lose the patience or overview and forget to take pictures in order to remember how things belong together. I could tell you different projects where I just ended up with a bucket of parts 😂 Makita by the way is great, just bought an electric mower and hedge trimmer where I can use the same batteries on. Everything is great, powerful and reliable. Wish again a nice evening, the day just started here in Germany 😘
Like most jack repair videos, just a clean and paint. Hardly a restoration. Would like to see rusty ram repair, source for all seals etc, removal of difficult parts and so on. Not knocking your effort, but it’s same as, same as .......
First things first is too get it reliable and safe too drive, then I’ll do a few mods and upgrades. Hopfully I can take it too the track an have fun racing! That the ultimate goal
Hy Alex, nice to find a new restoration video on your channel! See, you’re doing well and your new house looks great for the projects to come. In this video I liked especially the brazing of the handle. As a plumber it’s easy for you to do such things. I bought a brazing set in the Home Depot last year and I will give it a try to braze aluminum or other metals. Perhaps in order to make some artistic works for the garden, who knows. Feel hugged and I wish you a wonderful day. You’re on Tuesday already while I go to bed on Monday now ✌️👍😃💤💤
