Beautiful place, I'm sure someone will think it's perfect. Personally I much prefer the tiles in this house to cold, stark modern. This is what I'm looking for when moving to a country like Portugal. Much more authentic. The rest is cosmetic... colours to suit the owner... lighting, etc.

Well if I had real money I like Portugal I would rather be a little bit closer to the beach. And I don't know about the weather there what it's like all year-round
Thank you for your comment! Yes, this villa is about 15 minutes drive to the nearest beaches, such as Quarteira & Vale do Lobo. The weather in the Algarve is fantastic all year. From May - October, you can expect warm and sunny weather that is perfect for beach days. During the winter months, it becomes milder with some rain showers, but still many enjoyable sunny days with temperatures averaging 15°C. Portugal is known for having at least 300 days of sunshine each year - many people even celebrate New Year's Day on the beach.
He did not say the price because the price depends on the people who buy, if American citizen buys the price higher, if Portuguese are cheaper. So the price is not placed. Whether the agent admit it or not that is true

Really lovely. Because I work from home, I wouldn't want a communal pool in front of my home... but I can see it would be lovely for holiday-makers and people with families.
almost 3million for a house in Portugal is insane, specially with construction that is around 20years old. It's a big lot in a great location, but you will spend at 200-300k renovating something like this to today's standards. crazy
When the tax benefits for non-residents ended, you real estate companies will be left with these little houses falling apart because no one will buy them, the Portuguese have no money, this house is not worth more than 300 thousand euros

This would make a very nice family home... The lower level is a great place for guests or extended family... parents perhaps, or young adult in school.
I really like this property, it's charming. I love the old terracotta tiled floors. It's very 'Algarve'... and besides freshening up and paint, the ground floor looks quite good! I can see how opening up the top floor gives it a feel of more space (that 'living room' looks very tight as it is with a big leather sofa)... but I'd try to keep the more 'rustic' (as you would say) look... open it but keep the charm and maybe a bit of update in the kitchen. It's kind of a gem!!
Your idea to maintain a rustic Algarve look is great, as it would hold onto the historical charm of the property - which is what makes it so special in the first place. Thank you again for sharing your ideas!
What a beautiful property! I've watched a few of your videos and always well presented. I really like Cindy presenting (as well as the others) but I don't know if it's the audio wasn't working properly or it's the editing (maybe both)... but I find it was oddly edited and you can't hear her very well. The music over her wasn't helpful at all. I don't see a need for music... but if you think it's necessary I'd put it down a lot lower. I'd love to see this again, without all those distractions. But it looks like a gorgeous property. I'm from Canada and we love our lakes here, so the idea of Portugal + Ocean + Lake... and a gorgeous space! What a treat!

Stunning build. I would agree with the living space upstairs... for those views. The floors inside are spectacular and that foyer ceiling is spectacular. For me, I'd just remove the heavier curtains (style) and move in. The out building would make a lovely studio apartment for guests to have some privacy... I wouldn't feel the need to convert the garage and that room off the master would be perfect as an office, especially if you have clients come to your home... whether your a business person, teach private yoga or the likes or a massage therapist... it's perfect because they do not have to go through your house.

This is probably one of the best villas ive ever seen on your wonderful website. Having stayed close by and played golf many times on Vale da Lobo i can absolutely recommend purchasing in this area. Not sure about the road close-by the rear, there would be some traffic noise, but probably very little. Are you able to say what the costs payable for rates, or what ever they are called there. I suppose if you can afford 2 million its immaterial, just interested. Dream video and dream villa thank you.❤

Now this is really beautiful! I love that it does not look over a pool - or a golf course (less privacy & more noise from people talking, in my opinion). The view is very pretty. Lovely. I really like those curved walls everywhere. It's a nice touch. I think though, I would frost that glass by the pool. Who wants passersby to see you while you sun bathe or swim. Pretty views.
Thank you for your comment, the lack of stock/volume of buyers on the ground at the moment is what is driving the prices. It’s a wonderful villa with a super south-facing garden and has recently gone under offer.
3.45 million.then taxes etc on top.i dont think so.Algarve is so so over priced.The days of a investment in algarve have long gone.Spain is a far better option.Marbella is cheaper than here.
No garage.So much land.Great location for the view.Tennis courts are stupid.Not very clever how this is designed and those stupid windows on landing that are a nightmare to clean.Take away the view and what is left.Basic expencive bland house without a garage.

Im a designer builder and master craftsman.I hate modern architects.Sadly its the world we live today.They build space@@VendiciProperties which gives big areas.And because value is measured in metres .Make money with little material costs..This is fine if you build your own house and except that.Then reality hits you when you live there.They are concrete boxes with glass frames to fill the gaps.Needing a full time window cleaner.Any house with concrete is valued at maximum 55 years life span.yes they can be longer but not valued at build stage.

Thank you for your comment @kitbag4237 - To get a totally renovated villa with frontline golf views in Quinta do Lago Prime Location at this price is not easy. There are many properties in QDL in need of renovation at cheaper price but then you have to undertake the works etc..
