Yea it’s a great venue, some swims have more weed in than others but all very much fishable and I know the baliff was working on removing more weed from the channel swims which were probably the most weedy when we fished.

Hi Mark, glad you enjoyed it. Personally I’d use the Korda sub braid on the pan in 20lb I never had a cut off once in 2 years using it there and I had plenty of fish that locked themselves up behind and round bars and had no worries at all, it also deals with the weed fa better than any mono ever could👍 the Katran Crypton line is fairly decent stuff, something I tend to use if I need to fish long range straight through but not something I’d use as a first choice on pan.
