beautiful place. I was raised up there. if you wanna go to bars go elsewhere but if you want the beauty of the land this is a wonderful place.

This video leaves out the crumbling, abandoned town that is Robbinsville. What was once a pretty, thriving community is a ghost town on the hill. Down the hill now are a strip mall, supermarket, gas stations, fast food, a motel, but no soul left in the main town. Wish it could be restored.

nice pics! we live in the same place I bet. You should go up to Cashiers and go past the Ingles and go for about 45 min then take a right a the nice pizza gas station then shortly on your right will be a great park with 3 falls. ive got movies, check em out.

god i miss being a kid... i remember when i first came here. I was 7 years old. It sucks that tomorrow, demolition is going to destroy what splendid china was :/ R.I.P Splendid China!

I hear ya. I recently watched a vid from Adam the woo, that showed what it looks like now.. It's just pathetic that vandals think it's better to mark things up, than to leave them be.

i visited it when it was open. such a great attraction and really sad to read that it closed and then even worse to find out it's been vandalized.
