Nice topic! For instance, I have a requirement to present data hierarchically, but also need to sum and expose values through the nodes. Do you know if it's possible to achieve this requirement using this approach? The @DefaultAggregation would work on top of this hierarchical modelling? Thanks
Great video! Is there a place that I can have the links ( for the content mentioned at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3boy_RQ-DPs.html ) ?
Short, concise and still covering most of the important parts where tests can, how and should be used. Good work. I am also a champion for integration > unit If I had to choose one.
Hey, i tried Scalar Function on S/4hana 2023 fp01. i just relaized, we can only do aggregations and not amdp functionality ( with using table ) on premise systems. I assume , it is only allowed on cloud. will there be a change in the future, that we can use Scalar Funcitons like Table Functions with using Tables and calling select * on premise Systems ? Thank you

I am on an S/4HANA 2023 On-premise system and getting this "Hierarchy for view XXX is not supported" on the latest version of abap tools on eclipse. Any guesses ?
As mentioned around 2:25, read-only hierarchies are only available since 2311 and newer. This means that for OP only the upcoming releases will support it
Nice video - Thank you so much @abapconf I have found missing of annotation in OP systems @OData.hierarchy.recursiveHierarchy:[{ entity.name: ' ' }] how can I link/refer my Hierarchy CDS view in the Consumption view Is there any similar kind of annotations available in S4HANA On prem system ?
Important and helpful information on SAP #ABAP development tools #ADT. I really like the features compared with se80 ... no more excuses! Do the change
Can't wait to see what more we will be building on ABAP.....#ABAPisNotDead is true only because of contributors like Lars and others....I wish SAP also actively contributes to this ecosystem and foster good engineering values in SAP ecosystem....
Actually amazing contribution, although could we have a ABAP - CLOUD version of the source code as well. I tried to abapGit this on the trial ABAP-CLOUD and code now seems to have syntax errors because it uses restricted components 😞
vielen dank für euren Einsatz, bin noch am sichten des ganzen Video Materials :D. Solch ein Format, habe ich mir schon lange gewünscht für uns ABAP Entwickler.
