Game journalism wasn't that expansive back in the day. Internet wasnt really that big back in the day, hence I learned about this from gaming magazine.

I still got it installed (now with Dosbox Emulation to have it running under windows) and occasionally fire it up to have some fun memories. This and 25th Anniversary/Judgment Rites are the best Trek Adventure Games to date.
This is neat. I didn't know there was a 40k conversion mod. This looks cool, but I wish they changed the geoscape planetary view. Going to check it out this weekend thanks to your video!

Greatly improve Jane's Fighters Anthology by adding the latest 'USNRaptor Playset.' Over 20 years of improvements to the game including new and improved aircraft, weapons, missions and campaigns.
USNRaptor Playset is added to game here but it introduces new things that can crash game. Sadly this is on the edge of what can be considered compatible with current computers.
You can attack a ship with multiple interceptors at once by clicking the minimization button in the upper left corner of the dogfight window; keep doing this until you have all the interceptors you wish to engage the ship in the fight, then have them attack all at once
It's Terran!!! Read the goddamn sign in the party, t e r r a n. It's literally spelled right there for you. You spell terrain. Terrain is the geographical location in which you are at and it determines on whether it's a mountain field or ocean for any other type of terrain. Also Terra means Earth
21:02 I'd have done a dogleg to travel along the Southern edge of the patrol area (assuming the time isn't very tight which I don't think it is) ..I'm sure the desperate crew wouldn't mind waiting a little extra time!

This is showing that the acctual released DNF was prety faithfull to orginal concept and i would say it wasnt a bad game, the expectations were way to big because of the long wait
So all of the levels you played actually have nothing to do with Duke Nukem Forever Returns. These are all maps made by the Restoration Project. The Returns mod literally took our entire project, changed a few later on maps and re-uploaded it as their own.

OFP:n pelimoottori ei oikein taipunut 2. maailmansodan jalkaväkitaisteluihin. FDFModikin pääsi oikeuksiinsa vasta moninpelissä ja yksinpelisisältö tuntui vähän päälle liimatulta 😃
Ternin ongelma oli ennenkaikkea kiinteä tähtäin joka oli asetettu 300m. Tarkoittaa siis käytännössä, että lyhyemmiltä matkoilta kivääri ampui kohteen yli. Kivääri lähtikin käytännössä heti miehillä vaihtoon mihin tahansa sotasaalisaseeseen. Tarkkuus noin muuten ei ollut ongelma. Ylemmän tason ongelma sitten, että kiväärissä oli myös eri patruuna kuin muissa aseissa.
