Looks like you have him shooting Lefted handed using his Right eye. My sister used to try doing that and couldn't hit anything, once we got her shooting Left handed, she was lethal. Keep at it....
LOL that's funny shit right there that moment will be talked and laughed about more no than if he got the Tom lots of time for Turkey's but memories are priceless but damit decoys ain't cheap
Tough hunting with that many cooks in the kitchen. They get in each others way. Sure is beautiful sounds though, listening to the dogs, love it. Good luck in the future.
I love fishing there over the years. I haven't fish there and about ten years. But it was the place I learned how to really fish. Fishing all the dams all over the best fishing in my life. Catching every species ran like a is supposed to. And I've fish some of every we're. 😮
Really enjoy the videos Love hearing the dogs do yourselves a favor. Stop talking when you’re standing on watch if you don’t think that will turn a rabbit. Thanks again when we hunt there is no talking only if you shoot and miss the rabbit, someone will yell coming your way that’s about the extent of it. Thanks for the good videos.
Thanks I have really enjoyed your video iamb from the Altoona Pennsylvania area. I haven’t been rabbit hunting in years since my uncle died who was like a dad to me it never seem to be the same after he passed away but I love to hear the dogs running that rabbit or should I say rabbits it brings back good memories to me you shot this video over a year ago and I am now watching this video from the other side of the world in the Philippines and the date is December 25, 2023 so again I would just like to say thank you and let you know that a fellow Pennsylvania Appreciates your videos merry Christmas
I feel you on the "grandson doesn't understand being quiet" thing lol. I have a son who thinks that rabbit hunting involves following the dogs in their circle. Still wouldn't trade having him in the woods for shooting a limit every time I go though, great to see you have him out!
I'm from around oil city and I always wanted to try some winter walleye fishing. I still got a few dozen riffle runners I got to use up. But I was maybe thinking I could use some swim baits If the minnows didn't work.
Hello mellowpuddle, I'm not sure on the swim baits. In my opinion, the winter walleye are very lethargic and respond to slow presentation. Working Jigs tipped with Berkley Gulp minnow (or a live minnow if you can keep it on, bottom bouncing with rock seems to be hard with a live minnow) has usually worked for me. Thanks for watching!!
@deebo2808 thanks for watching! I have to respectfully disagree some though, first part of the video we went over the various baits we used, jig colors and what we tipped them with…next time we will try and give more insight on the presentation for you. Have a great day.
Watching this thinking to myself "these guys look familiar" lol. Took me a minute to figure it out. Interesting gun uncle Doug. Ken, I knew you were a good shot but that shot you made was nothing short of putting on a clinic. Maybe 2 or 3 guys in the world could make that shot at that range. Keep the videos coming. Would love to get out hunting with you guys sometime. Also when I say "you guys" I don't mean to confuse any of you. It means the same as when you say "yinz"
LOL @kennethcoder404 ! But why did you have to say anything about his shooting skills, he is already hard enough to deal with and now he thinks he’s some kind of a great shot!!! Just remember a good film editor can make anything possible.
@Tightlinenstion yes according to Franklin, Pa’s game commission’s barracks it is legal. I was also told I could use a 410 pistol for spring turkey. If I can get one close enough (10 yards tops) I’m going to try it this spring.
@@stepoutdoors1161 ok. Thanks for the update. I wanted to use a .410 at one time and as you read the laws it’s not legal. Maybe they updated thanks for the info
Thanks for the compliment and you are absolutely right, a day in the field or on the water with the kids is what it is all about. They are the future and what they learn from us matters.
