Area does not counter Fafnir. Fafnir can ult his ult or end ult so he doesn’t get pulled. He also stuns ares flame. He also has a leap so that he can leap out or leap in. In any scenario…
I agree with the supp counters, neutral, etc on Fafnir list. Fat is purely a pick for back line bullying, peeling, and set up. Not really meant to win that lane but win late.
The thing about Fafnir is he's very jump reliant to get him out and provide extra CC, so when you cripple that and prevent him from using it he's a sitting duck. As for the ult portion, you're either forcing him to ult early or de-transform early, but you're right in the sense that he won't really ever get pulled by an Ares with his ult up. But he also definitely doesn't want to de-transform early otherwise Ares wins that engagement.. But yea overall Ares is a massive counter to Fafnir, he pretty much denies most of what he wants to do. I've played with / against this matchup many times in both my comp. matches and against SPL supports in ranked, and 9 / 10 times Ares won't let the Fafnir play.
Yeah you're 100% right, but when his 1 is down he's more of a sitting duck. He's not always gonna have his 1 up and if she roots him before he pops his one he's still rooted. That's kinda my line of thinking there.
For Ganesha I would take Art out and put Sol in to the counters with her slow immune. Also into the wallers like Ymir, Yemo and Cabra, Sol disapparate goes straight through walls.
Agree with Sol being able to go through walls. Only issue is the wind-up time it takes. In those few seconds, especially late game you can kill Sol before she even gets her disapparate off.
@@Dashboarrd Yeah that's true, I would say that aegis is a great buffer between that but I get that the video was purely for the god counters and not including relics.
The only time supports get countered is by NOT getting beads AND when their adc throws a tantrum for starting 0-2 before 10 minutes simply because they do not ward
@HW-ow9zp ill take the beads statement to my grave. In diamond and masters, people quickly target supports since they can be removed very quickly before fights happen. So the support is gone from no beads and then you force a objective or fight.
i lowk feel like loki is a B tier god, i’ve been playing loki for a while now and he’s feels very strong imo. idk how it works for higher tier but with a good loki who can secure kills and get away i think it can have a crazy snowball effect on the game.
I would love a video like this talking about which supports are best for your teams ADC. I feel like having good lane synergy is very important in addition to just a good matchup. All and all great vid! Very informative
Thanks for the vidéo, loved it ! Btw I have a question please, what do you think of the Gem of Isolation on supports that can use the passive twice on a single spell ? Like the Khepri 2, Xing 1, Artio 3, Sylvanus 2 ? I found that very annoying for the ennemy team, but maybe it's not really worth
I think Gem is very good on a few supports, such as Ares for example. He uses Gem super well with both his chains and his flames since it's consistently being re-applied. I wouldn't go it on Khepri because I usually use my item slots for both cooldown and buffing my allies.

Yesterday I had a GM Sobek support throw a fit at EXACTLY 1 minute into the game because he died and wanted to give up. GM. So he left lane, came to my lane in solo. Continued with the tantrum. He made our jung quit. Later the GM quit. GM by the way. G. M. Mind-boggling how these kids get past gold.
