Not something I’ve ever really considered doing, I understand why channels do it (engagement, extra subscribers etc) maybe when I hit a big milestone that could be a fun thing to do, 10k or so..
It’s basically the same I believe, never used it myself but people tell me it’s cheaper and just as good, at some point I’ll have to do a comparison video!
Haha the powers of chaos are fickle, you may want super daemonic strength or a useful set of tentacles, what you’ll get however is a butt hole with teeth 😂
I've always liked using the base coat color for the first stage of highlighting after the wash, it always made more sense to me than darkening everything down and then bringing it up brighter than the now darker base. I mean sure if your doing less of an all over wash and move of a panel line or recess shade it makes sense, but not with the all over was especially not a heavy all over wash.
Nice to see someone on the same page! I find it’s become my favoured method, easier on the execution and saves on working out all the highlights, the lazy painters method 😂
@@adamshobbystuff It's not just about laziness, I see so many tutorials saying to base coat in a true red slather in a brown wash and then highlight with orange or pink, for the second highlight sure, but if your not going to target that wash in the first place that base red is now already one or more shades darker whether it's more black or brown or purple doesn't matter you've darkened it down significantly and also probably de-saturated it in the process. Now you want to start your highlights by jumping twice that many shades higher and either changing the hue or de-saturating it even further? Obviously none of this applies if your not just slathering on the wash, but even if it's with thinner washes, but that's what so many people do and more importantly the advice they give in tutorials.
Another great finished paint job. I'd be interested in a vid covering your move to Pallid Hand and I don't even play 40k! I just really enjoy your conversions and painting style. (More of a Necromunda player myself.)
The pox walkers and the easy build desth guard box you shown where originally in the 8ed starter box the reson that model in two different sprue also they where lazy making new pox mold as well as there is a newer pox set that never came out
