I originally started this channel in 2007 just to upload random videos. I named the channel "nnse" (Nyt Ninja Special Effects) because I was planning on uploading visually stunning videos from my own cameras, but it never really happened. After a while I decided that I would start doing gameplay videos for any type of game, retro or modern. After playing Adventure Ponies, that's when I got hooked on doing more My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic gameplay videos. I'll admit that I'm not the best gamer in the world, but I try my best at all the games I play. In most of my videos I'll cut out failed attempts or anything similar to shorten the videos. I don't do webcam/commentary in my videos because I find it annoying. My channel is non-profit because this is only a hobby and I do not own the rights to any of the games created by Hasbro Inc. or the fans.
It's like it was drawn and developed by someone who had seen ONE episode of DBZ.. and it was a filler episode.. still. I played the piss out of this when I was a child and never noticed lol
I remember going to a race. It was weird. A tornado was moving across the track. The announcer said not to worry about it as it’s only on a small part of the track
If you mean the main antagonist of the series, it's Mr. J (revealed to be Jacob at the end of the final game), not Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson, and Mr. J, are two different people, though I once confused them for the same guy too. Mr. Johnson did order the death of Shawn's wife, but it was Mr. J himself ( aka Mr. *Jacob* ), who killed her. Mr. J is a bastard, indeed.
Watching this brings back so many memories of my mom playing this on the sega Genesis growing up!!! Even when I got older, she still played it!!!! She’s gone and I miss her a lot and this kinda brings comfort watching this!!!!
I made a speedrun on hard a hour ago in 2h12,I was trying again with half of.the time and the energy went out right on…with that I leave a hint: - Because when happens of hitting blocks far away or the ball doesn't hit for so long, better let your setup in UNLIMITED credits, most levels you will have to suffer many intentional life penalties as catch the powerup with the same thing(IMPORTANT:PLAY *WARPLESS* BOARDS,don't catch the blue warp level thing) - If you have good defense and you're confident, let most of the time, the ball speed on max(control the pad with the mouse),if you get the 8 balls, shake your mouse as long as you save many of them and to help, before that…turn the ball into fireball it does save a ton of time - Avoid side kicks specially when there's low amount of blocks,it's an eternity to the ball comeback - Catch the block down powerup sometimes and in your view, lose a life intentionally to adjust the height to the ball not go very far - With windowed mode,if you can't play fullscreen with LiveSplit inside, make your best to use the laser and try to make sure the mouse cursor is on the lower spot of the window,so you avoid minimize, move the window out of your recording area or even close accidentally the game(it happened on the very last board, the last shot on laser I clicked on minimize but the run already counted)
i wish they made a alternate where Shawn works for Mr.j to protect his wife but along the way they becomes friends or maybe another series where Shawn is framed by Mr.j secret child and is hunted by the feds and gang now that would be worth everyone's time
Or... read this. What IF, they made a sequel, of the "Shawn Saga", where you explore the events around a young man, who is a hitman, and also the spiritual successor, and "reincarnation" of both Shawn and Mr. J? Later on, Shawn and that man meet, and the latter recognized Shawn, and looked up to him greatly, much to Shawn's sadness. Shawn initially saw nothing too exceptional about that kid, but then the young hitman requested him to set up some practice targets, and bring him a sniper, as a form of "training". After thinking for a bit, Shawn accepts, interested on what the kid could do. The young man showed some exceptional skill, as he took out all the targets in one bullet, impressing Shawn quite a lot. Shawn then asked him how he was this skilled, and the kid would reply, saying that he was trained to do, since the age of 3. Shawn would then be shocked by this, and ask him how old he is now, with the kid answering that he was only 18, and that he is currently working as a hitman. This, would shock Shawn even more, and also disturb him, as he was worried of that young kid's age, but also especially the profession, that he was doing. The 18 year old man, would then reply, saying that he didn't have much of a choice, prompting to Shawn to have many questions in his head, and also asking what he meant by that. The kid would then say that he'll explain to him later, and asked Shawn if there was any group he could join, to carry out some assassination missions. Shawn then thought of the group in which Charlie and Marco were in, and suggested him to join, to which the young kid agreed to. And then... the new "saga" would begin.
I love that each port of this ms pac man game by tengen was unique in its own way. The original NES version had the least arcade accurate sounds (to be fair they sounded mostly accurate just in 8 bit form lol which I love) but the most arcade accurate character animations, whilst the snes version had the most accurate sounds to the arcade original but changed up the character/fruit models animations (and the stage animations too) up-ing them for 16 bits capability. The genesis was somewhere in the middle, having sounds that were mostly accurate and the same 16 bit upgrade as the snes version (ironically that only sound that wasn’t accurate in the snes version, the noise when ghosts go blue, is more accurate in the genesis version lol) sorry I’m abit of a port comparison analyst sometimes lol
We used to play this in my English class my senior year of high school back in 2003-2004. It was sort of a motivation to finish what you were doing early, or at least get some work done. This guy would always get all excited about getting powerups and shout, "I got the guns!" and folks would rush over to watch. Someone once was putting in a name for a new high score and my teacher overheard someone say, "Put Bry (Mr. Bryant) is gay." Teach interjected, "You type one thing on that computer, and you won't pass high school for the rest of your life." Good times...
If you want to play it back now,I recommend play it on easy, aince the powerup RNG and cycles to appear makes a lot unfair to hardest,I discovered the game last year for speedrun tests,so if you want to have less trouble waiting for ideal powerups and survival, only easy is good for you
This particular version may never come to be, best chance is the arcade version, and since Namco has no control over her character anymore, Atgames would have to do the release themselves, and likely would never port a version to any console. The best chance to play this in modern times is to just get a Genesis, an SNES, or an NES, and buy any one of them, for NES, the Tengen variant is this version of the game, the Namco one is the normal slower paced arcade game ported over.
