A soft limiter in an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) car is a type of engine management system designed to control the engine speed and prevent it from exceeding a certain RPM (Revolutions Per Minute). Unlike a hard limiter, which abruptly cuts off fuel supply or ignition to stop the engine from going beyond the maximum RPM, a soft limiter gradually reduces the power as the engine approaches the limit.

It was disabled, the red light you see is for “EC” mode. That’s economy and it disables the AC compressor/system. But even then it would’ve probably been fine it’s a Mercedes after all 😉.

Most normal benzes are made to be able to cruise at 180 kmh so around 110 mph. most AMGS are able to go faster than 255 kmh (around 160 mph). And all Mercedes chassis amgs have governors. While the in house made AMGS normally don’t have a governor. But the Mercedes chassis AMGS had an option to remove the governor from the factory.

Thanks, they are the 18 inch AMG two piece rims. I believe that these were originally from the R129 SL v12 AMG models. They are pretty rare so I hope you can find them for a decent price. Normally they are around 2-4K euros. Good luck 🍀

Did you have to Do anything to make them Fit or they fit just fine?

It was standard fit for me, only thing is you have to look at how much sidewall mm you can have for the tires my tears are 35.
