Thanks for the insightful review. I agree with your assessment. The copper orange dial color is something different and attractive but the rose gold color of the B logo just doesn’t belong on the dial. Regarding the brand name, maybe it’s pronounced similarly to lattimer? gossamer? Who knows. I can live with it though. What do you think looks better in person, this or the Cronos?
They need to change company name and use of two indexes at 12 o'clock instead of a logo. Also removing the date display would make the dial very symmetrical

I love the look and the idea, but it's impossible to tell time on the PM side. Black hands on a black dial makes them disappear. Also, the presentation box is a mess to open and I would have loved to display it but every time I take it out, I have to pull out my vacuum to clean up and lastly the strap on mine was so supple, it was useless, I could not even get it through the buckle. I still have mine with a new strap and wear it in the day time, but at night, it's no longer a time telling device. I was shocked Timex allowed Made Worn to send the charcoal mess to consumers like that, I'm sure there could have been away to make the box look old without making it look exactly like you would have found it in a house fire.
Whenever I ask the Ali brands why they've named something such, I never get a straight reply. I've often wondered if it's the language barrier or another reason. Adventurer or navigator make a lot more sense than exploration road. My next Ali review is going to be the Bettimer GP homage. Any thoughts as to why they chose Bettimer as their brand name?

I have a clean conscience with my Seestern 600T. Doxa today is not the manufacturer as the Original in the 60s and the new Doxa Company don‘t describe themselves as a watch manufacturer. The parts are mostly from China, assembled in Switzerland. When you get right down to it, today's doxas are also just clomages of the original. And not much better in quality than Seesterns. In my opinion, the prices are not justified. Stay calm and buy a Seestern :-)
Depends on what you want, really. I personally don't like homage watches to be direct copies. it feels too close to being in knock-off territory. I've not handed a pagani myself that's better quality than san martin. Could you name a particular model I'll try and check it out.
@@thewristwatchnewschannel Might be splitting hairs but in my opinion that San Martin is close enough that I would consider it a direct copy. At any rate if you are looking for originality you probably won't find it from Pagani or San Martin, so in the end wear what you enjoy and can afford.
A gorgeous watch, but the 19mm lugs just kills it for me. I already have a case of 22mm straps and 20mm straps. I don't want to set up a case for 19mm straps that will probably only ever be able to be used on just one watch. Regardless, the review was excellent.
I dont have an issue with an homage watch of a micro brand. I watch a side by side cmparison and the homage is slightly larger which is kind of what I wanted in the first place.
It seems that the moral of the story is avoid LANS TB . I have recently returned 2 watches to AE for various reasons and to my surprise was fully refunded within about a week in both cases , though this is not something I want to stress test ! Thanks for the review of the wrong watch , I like that you weren’t going to be beaten .
Over the years, I'd say returns with ali have been fine 80% of the time when it goes wrong, though it really goes wrong. I've always lived by the motto to try anything twice. I won't write LANS.T.B completely off based on one experience, but then I won't be buying another any time soon. Ha.
I had this same model. Had to return it because of the misaligned bezel by 1 click, the weirs thing is if you try to align the lume pip on 12 marker the 3 and 9 indexes are way off misaligned. If you try to align the 3 and 6 index with bezels then the lume pip is way off from the 12 index. I tried contacting Lans.t.b but did not acknowledge the qc issue, they said that there are slight tolerance with manufacturing. I tried AliExpress customer support and they asked me to return for refund, i shipped the watch on 3/15, base on the tracking it was received 3/18 in an address that was provided by AliExpress via free shipping label. 3/20 Ali Express agreed to refund me. However until now they have not released my refund yet despite of multiple chats, speed ups and several follow ups still no refund was issued. I reached out to PayPal to report them as fraud, but AliExpress customer service that the refund was frozen because of the report/dispute i made, they askede to retract the dispute to facilitate the refund after 3 days but up until today i have not received the refund. Last option was to reopen the dispute again and wait for PayPal resolution after reaching out to them. Very upset with AliExpress and LansTB.
That's the rub. The quality is there just silly QC and shipping errors. These new Chinese brands have to start strong in such a competitive market. Thanks for checking out the review.
This Grand Seiko homage is one is on my list ... Especially a fan of the off white version. I especially enjoy videos from hobbiests who don't do this for a living. Excited to hear your opinion of this one. Surprised by the lug width ... 19mm is unusual.

Give the fact they sent you a random watch rather than what you actually ordered you have been pretty fair to them. Who knows what I would get if I ordered a watch from them, so I won't.
